Pump is not durableWilliamBought 4 of these six months ago. 1 of the pumps sticks after only 3 months of light usage - have to lift the pump back up after every press. I'm worried that all of the pumps are junk.
Otherwise, the glass reservoir is great. Love how easy it is to refill.

Tackan soap dispenserSteveI bought it yesterday to replace my current plastic soap dispenser that was leaking. I have never had any issues with the items that I have bought in the past at IKEA. So trusting that this dispenser works, I filled it up with liquid hand soap. Well, I tried using it this morning and it doesn’t work. I tried unscrewing the top and screwing it back on but still didn’t work. I’m really disappointed and now I have a dispenser filled with soap but can’t use unless I open the top and pour it from the container.

Perfect for my needsJoanneI was using an old soap dispenser and pump and refilling it with my own liquid soap. Eventually, the pump stopped working, so I decided to buy two of these. One is for the liquid soap, and the other one is for liquid dish detergent. It’s perfect and they work uniform together on the counter next to the sink.
Great value, nice looks, smooth pump, odd openingJohnThe price is the first thing I noticed, since it’s just a fraction of the price of other—even all plastic—pump dispensers I could find online. It has a nice, simple, minimalist look. And the pump has a smooth action and feels robust, like it’ll last longer than most pumps. My only complaint is that the opening always drips and dribbles. I think it might be due to the unusual shape of the opening, which is a round hole within a relatively large surround facing horizontally. Every other pump dispenser I remember seeing has a pump opening that’s rectangular in shape and in a 45 degree angle facing down and horizontally. Basically it’s like the front of the pump spout was cut in a 45 degree angle, whereas the Ikea is molded in a shape where the hole was designed within a larger mold. The Ikea shape is unique and pleasing to look at, but impractical.

Simple and inexpensiveJuanitaThis soap dispenser is simple and inexpensive. I purchased multiples to use in the bathroom. I use a large refill bottle of liquid soap to fill all of them once a month and store them in the bathroom closet. Cheaper than buying single use bottles of soap.

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking.
