Good Dispenser, Not for Foaming Hand SoapJamiThe dispenser works well. Purchased this hoping it would work with my foaming hand soap, but it's not designed for it. As others have mentioned, it shoots the liquid straight out as the end of the pump isn't angled downward, so be careful when using it. Will try it with my hair products and see if it works for that; someone said it works with mouthwash, another said it works with dish soap.

Nice, but the tops are cream colored, not white!RoxanneI've purchased these cute glass bottles last year and finally got around to ordering some more. They're still lovely and functional, but the tops (the non-glass parts) are cream-colored instead of bright white. Just an FYI in case you need pure white to match your decor.
Other than that, they're great pump bottles that never clog, even when I use very thick lotion or soap in them. I just wish Ikea sold a bigger size for my kitchen sink (the soap and lotion dispenser that I currently use are silver-topped and no matter how much I clean and dry them, after a few weeks they always develop oxidation, which is a nuisance to clean).

Material
What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
