Looks goodAliciaPicked this color/texture for the kitchen and we love it. The only suggestion I have is to have premade markings for holes to be able to install knobs or handles. We managed to mark our own spots for holes to install knobs, but it would be nice to have it pre-marked on the inside panel manufactured that way.

Doesnt fit.JamesAfter purchasing based on the display (905.987.92) I got ALL the boxes home. Based on the display (that had no indication otherwise) I assumed I would get little knobs and a spring load for the door. Didnt.. strike 1. After getting about 95% done it came to the last drawer. It has a 5in, a 10in and a 15in. Well the 15 in wont fit. I tried the screw to move up and down and there is still about a 1/4in lip. Strike 2. Was on the phone 6 times starting with the hw missing (apparently knobs are not included?) all the way to the drawer not fitting. So I dont know if the cabinets are to small, the drawer hw is wrong or why it doesnt fit. So was told to bring the drawer in. So what if it was the wrong cabinet frame given? So bringing the drawer back (30 min 1 way) and will bring all this up and find out if Its strike 3 and no more Ikea.... this being my first large purchase is kind of frustrating. I assume it was a mix match the store created and didnt think it out.

Love itSibylI purchased this cabinet for my sewing patterns. It works quite well for that. Only problem I had was trying to get the drawers in the correct place. As much as I like the non verbal instructions sometimes it would help if I had something to read. But we did get it just the way we wanted it. Would recommend.

don't lastEmilywe redid our entire kitchen with these in 2016 paired with sektion/maximera, veddinge white. for the first year these looked amazing, then with 2 little kids there were more and more scratches, splatters and chips. Now the fronts in the most used part of the kitchen all have brown mdf showing through, and anything acidic if not wiped immediately (sauce, berries, coffee) will permanently stain. I am now looking into either sanding and painting or removing and getting semihandmade fronts. At the time we could not have afforded the later option, but if within our budget I would definitely have done sektion bases, drawers, pulls, hardware etc, and gone with a more durable full hardwood or semihandmade option front.

Do not believe Ikea warranty!BenteI have an Applad kitchen (now discontinued). I bought fronts twice, first thinking I had a bad batch after the paint started to crack and peel off. Second batch was bad too and my kitchen looks awful now. I reached out to Ikea phone support and they acknowlegded that this happens: paint cracks like it is a cracked eggshell. I sent in pictures of my fronts for the warranty claim and got the reply back that is NORMAL wear & tear. The second set was purchased in 2016 (a good 5 years ago). So you know what you are getting yourself into. No 25 years warranty at all!
The cabinets & drawers themselves are fine, but beware of the fronts you buy and do not believe their warranty.

Chips easily and matte white has yellowed.ErinThis is our second Ikea kitchen but unfortunately, we did not have the same good luck as our first. We are very disappointed in the quality of these fronts. In three years, we have several fronts that have chipped (which show the brown mdf) and most of our fronts have yellowed. Since not all of them have yellowed, we now have a kitchen with a mix of matte white and yellowish fronts with sprinkles of brown pdf peaking through where they have chipped. Our countertops and walls are also white, so the chips and yellowing is extremely noticeable. Needless to say, with 38' of Ikea kitchen cabinets, it's not in our budget nor should it be to replace all of our fronts after only three years. Do yourself a favor and pass on the Veddinge fronts. I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing and wasting all that money.

Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
