An absolute scamKateWhy would anyone want a drawer that does not include the slides? The fact that you have to pay an additional $15 so that you can actually use the drawer you purchased it ridiculous. 1
Disappointed / JillI had this assembled by a professional experienced carpenter -- he could not get one drawer to work despite replacing the hardware x 1. That drawer would not stay closed. We finally glued it shut. Would have returned if it wasn't 170 mile away!2

Not Full Extension DrawersKathleenThey’re fine, a little hard to align perfectly to other doors/drawers in the unit, but my biggest gripe is that the drawers are not full-extension. When you pull one open, 4” of the drawer stays in the unit, so you have a harder time pulling items out. I wish this was disclosed - they used to be full-extension. A serious bummer.3

Nice optionPaulineA drawer is a nice option over hinges. The pop open drawer tends to protrude a fraction of an inch, and opens on light touch. The soft close is a little more effort to open, but stays closed, and has a neater appearance.5

I am a huge IkeaAnonymous reviewerI am a huge Ikea fan. A large portion of my furniture comes from IKEA. This into that I created is beautiful and I receive compliments all the time. Some of the hardware is the disappointment. It works. Some parts of it aren’t as nice. Overall. My IKEA furniture has held up well through four kids and normal living. I am a big fan.5

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
