Off colorMiguelI was looking forward to matching this with my TROFAST - Frame, white, 39x17 3/8x22 ". I noticed as I was putting this together that the boards were wrapped with a type of white contact paper, not made of a wood like the Trofast floor frame. When I hung it over the floor frame, I noticed that the whites were different. I have three Trofast frames and two Kallax shelf units right next to the Trofast Wall unit, and the wall unit is the only one that doesn't match. Please advise.

The worst shelfJosephDon’t waste your money. You can’t actually hang this. It’s definitely too heavy to trust in just drywall and the smart folks at Ikea set up the pre filled holes at 34” apart. Meaning it cannot be hung on two wall studs since they are standard 32” apart (16 per). And if you try to re-drill new holes the particle board product just falls apart. I am not happy at all with this. 10 seconds of thought and IKEA could have pre drilled the hanging holes in the right place to begin with.

Wall trofastKristinaI had to give this a one, but I love this piece! However you do not ship the matching tubs to my location, so it has been impossible for me to find any that fit! Now I'm stuck with this awesome piece for my classroom and no tubs for it!
Love it, but.DianeWish it was deeper. I use it in my classroom to hold materials. This one was too small so I bought a second one and the larger bins. I have them on the floor so was able to push the two together and they accommodate the larger bins perfectly.
FrustratedAprilWe ordered this and noticed the bins were not available to ship, but were in stock in the MN store. I had someone go to the store for me and the associate said they were out of stock, but a shipment was coming in 2 days. Went back the day they were supposed to be in stock and a different associate said those bins were not going to be in stock for 8 weeks. We cannot find the bins anywhere and the shelf is already mounted on our wall and looks ridiculous without the bins (I would take the mesh or plastic ones - we aren't picky at this point), so I am guessing we cannot return it. Why continue to sell the shelf if there are no bins available?

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
