Good Product with Quality GapsIrinaCabinet arrived well packaged and assembly instructions were clear. We were very disappointed when we found that the assembled cabinet had multiple painting defects on the top surface; too late to disassemble and return. First time we've experienced this with IKEA. We will need to perform a much closer inspection of all parts for any future purchases we make.

Excellent!TaraI love this cabinet. It's a great size and there is so much more room than I expected. I was able to get rid of 2 smaller pieces of furniture that have seen better days and put everything i had stored in them into this cabinet. It was fairly easy and fast to assemble. The one and only tricky issue was getting the doors even but I love it and would highly recommend.
The doors can be adjusted easily!!!!AmberFollowing the directions to put this together wasn’t too bad, you just have to pay attention to the edges. When I first put the cabinet together, there was a gap between the doors, yes. However, the fix is incredibly easy if you keep reading the directions. The secondary screw on the hinges closest to the door itself, not the one that attaches the door to the cabinet, allows you to adjust the cabinet doors. Look at page 25 of the instructions. This is a very nice cabinet, especially for the price and I recommend you buy it. Please don’t listen to the other reviews as the cabinet doors are such an easy fix.

Clean and functional
Love BRIMNES, Hate the SMELLWendyI bought 2 BRIMNES cabinets and 2 BRIMNES Bookcases for a creative space/bedroom repurposing. The off-gassing is so bad that I can't stand being in the room. IKEA says they don't add formaldehyde, but I just tested my room and it was above WHO limits for formaldehyde and it's been over a week since we assembled the furniture. I can say, unfortunately, this will likely be my last IKEA furniture purchase. Not worth the risk.

The cabinet smell was so strong/toxic that I left the pieces outside on the balcony in high heat and sun for 30 days. I brought it back in and after one day it still filled the air with toxic chemicals. I cannot imagine storing food in this piece. I appreciate IKEAs safety standards but worry this could make a child, elder, or anyone with vulnerabilities chronically ill over time.
I have owned Besta cabinets for years, and while I would not store food in those either, they do not impact air quality like this Brimnes. For those who are not sensitive to smell, be extra careful because our cells are still impacted.
Ikea - please consider finishing all sides when using so much exposed particle board.

White Cabinet DooDanaVery Roomy and sturdy
Look great but large gapKatieGreat large cabinet for the price but there is a large gap where the doors are supposed to meet. No way to adjust it. I ordered 5 and so far 3 all have the gap. I had them delivered and don't have the ability to return them. In order to have them picked up to return them I need to disassemble them and pack them up which would destroy them due to the backing that is hammered on. I also intended to hang 2 on the wall because a q&a said they could hung on the wall, but after purchasing I saw they could not be hung on the wall and the q&a was updated to say they can't be hung just mounted to prevent tipping. Overall frustrated because of how big of an order this was. And now im stuck with them.
Nice but there is a gap in the doorsDeannaI should have read the reviews more carefully as this seems to be a common issues. Easy to assembly but at the end there is a half inch or more gap between the doors. It’s not super appealing but taking it apart and returning it for a new one isn’t an option as I live to far away.

Great quality especially for the priceErinI want to start by noting, if you are seeing any reviews complaining about the gap in the doors, it’s because people are not getting all the way through the instructions! The very last page shows how to make adjustments to fix any of these issues. I had the issue with the gap and fixed it entirely by the very last page. ——
For $100, I am honestly so impressed with the quality. I RARELY leave reviews but after seeing some of the issues people had that were simply user error, and with how happy I am with the finished product, I felt it needed one. The piece is solid, and looks more expensive than the $100 price tag. We bought 2, and are more than likely going to buy another since we are so happy with it and could use another cabinet in another space. ——
One thing that other people mentioned as well, I suggest putting the doors on very last. Put the shelves in first, or risk scraping the inside of the doors. Other than that, worth every penny!

Great fit, but wonky doorsIsabellaI needed a storage solution for my bathroom with no storage, and this works perfectly. My only complaint is that the doors were a struggle to make even in the first place, and over time they’ve become wonky again.
Huge gap between doorsHeatherThey were not too difficult to put together but there is a gap about 3/4 an inch between the doors which makes it look tacky. No way to fix or adjust it. Too much work to take apart and return so I’m pretty frustrated.
Cabinet Doors.GloriaThe cabinets are sturdy and look great, would have given 5 stars if the doors did not have the large gap. How does IKEA correct this? Has another purchaser solved this GAP issue? I don’t want to disassemble and return them.
