dangerously unsound productRandallThis product is a piece of crap. The shelf part is merely glued onto the back part. The shelf part will break off (usually while you are away, of course) and your precious belongings will crash to the floor, irreparably damaged. Maybe it could hold the weight of a piece of paper, but not much more. Will break at weight loads way below the rated limit. As I have several, now I have to replace any that haven't broken yet and replace them with something else -- a big pain. At least no one was hurt - but they could be. Many here have noted this problem.
Check for Missing stickersCourtneyThese shelves come with literally 2 things in the package. The shelf and dot stickers to cover the screw holes. 1/2 of the shelves I purchased were missing the stickers. I know they are just for aesthetics, but I'm still irritated they're missing. It's not worth an hour and half round trip drive to exchange them.

What is fibreboard?
Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
