Beautiful cribErinEasy to put together. Beautifully simplistic design that gives the crib an eloquent appearance.5
Listen to other reviewersAyahI’ve had the same issue as countless others — the cribs are falling apart and will need to be replaced. I’ve had these cribs for a little over a year, and they’ve been used for a fraction of that time as they were in storage during a big move. The cribs sides were coming apart before, which I thought would be an easy fix when we reassembled them, but it’s not and is clearly a manufacturing issue. I bought two for my twins and have complete regret having bought these. Save yourself the trouble and buy something sturdier from the get go1
Does not last - Poor side panel construction ChristopherWe bought this crib a few years ago and it seemed fairly solid/good quality upon construction. After about a year (once our baby was moving around), the side panels started separating and coming apart. I've glued it back together probably three times to avoid buying another one, but there was a point that it was unsalvageable and felt unsafe. Don't expect this product to last long and have the ability to reuse for multiple kids. 1
DO NOT BUY THIS UNSAFE CRIBSarahI received this crib as a gift for my baby shower, and I am angry that I chose it. I am so disappointed in this IKEA crib. It completely falls apart, despite our numerous attempts to ensure it’s been put together properly. The side panels, which are one piece upon purchase, completely fall apart once baby can move, meaning that the crib collapses and Baby can escapes through the sides. Worst case, this happens while Baby is in it and will be injured, or they hurt themselves, climbing out the collapsed sides. I am in utter shock that IKEA has not recalled this crib. Shame on IKEA for not recalling this and risking the safety of children. 1
Pretty goodTyler Pretty easy to assemble. The only annoyance is both headboards are hollow and make a ton of noise if the baby hits/kicks them. It wakes up the entire house. I probably would have gotten something else if I had known this beforehand.4
A solid crib choice KatherineSo far, I’m really pleased with this. It’s currently a crib for my 15 month old and it’s great! Lots of space for her to move, comfortable for sleeping, and aesthetically pleasing too. In terms of putting it together, I will admit her father did the majority of it but he had no major complaints, instructions were straight forward and he had it together in 30-45 minutes. If you aren’t sure about assembly, Ikea even notes you can go through Task Rabbit which is great. Glad I got this for her, it’s great. 5
Falls ApartMargaretI have a GULLIVER crib and it's solid as a rock, but it was out of stock when I was pregnant with my second so we bought the SUNDVIK. Tried to lower the crib mattress today and the solid end completely fell apart when removing it. It's clearly a manufacturing defect, but since it's >180 days since I opened it customer service unable to help at all and has no escalation options, which is is incredibly disappointing and a huge safety issue, as this lot should be recalled. The GULLIVER is back in stock so I emergently bought a second one and thankful my child wasn't injured, but very upset there are no escalation options in case of baby products like this that are often purchased far in advance and mattress not lowered for many months. 1

Worth the money.LurvyIt’s nothing fancy but it does the job and the best part it grows with your child. For me I love putting things together so it wasn’t hard for me to build it.5
Head/Foot board falls offJiI echo Sarah A's review below. We really liked the crib, but now my girl is 23 pounds, active inside her crib, and the top headboard keeps falling off. The head and footboard parts come as one piece - it is not a piece we have to put together, which means there is not a lot we can do to fix it. I really liked this one, and also purchased a bedrail for the time I covert this to a toddler bed, but I will be finding something different now.2
Unexpected durabilityRebeccaWe purchased this crib for our newborn 3 1/2 years ago. It now serves as a toddler bed for the same child. The crib is still in excellent condition and has been very sturdy. We are expecting another baby in May and I plan to convert it back to a crib for her!5
DisappointedSarahPros: looks nice. Cons: the boards on the head & foot keep falling off every time my 22 lbs baby moved around. I have to push the legs and boards in at least twice a day, after naps. It’s very flimsy for a crib, in my opinion. Unfortunately, I have to replace with something sturdier.1

Nice basic, streamlined crib. A few flaws.KimOverall, I love the look. The wood seems sturdy and I am having twins so I like that it is a slightly less bulky profile to fit 2 into our nursery room. Assembly was reasonable considering other ikea pieces we’ve struggled with, but honestly definitely worth having 2 people for assembly. As others have said, the warning labels are a bummer. They’re printed on both ends and so you can’t even hide one end against a wall. I tried rubbing alcohol which a few others seemed to have success with and it didn’t budge. I’m considering just leaving it because I don’t want to ruin the wood finish. My only other negative is that I tried putting a crib skirt on them today and the short sides of the crib are way too tight so there’s no space between the boards to stuff the skirt through. Maybe there’s a way to adjust this when assembling but definitely annoying.4
Great for my twins!BridgetMy 9 month old twins love to sleep in these cribs. They are sturdy, stylish, and I love that they’ll convert to their toddler beds when it’s time. Buying two of everything adds up when you’ve got twins, so I was glad to find these cribs at a great price. Very easy assembly—I did it on my own when quite pregnant!5
Great Product but disappointedAlyssaI was very excited about this crib because I trust Ikea’s quality. It was incredibly easy to put together compared to other pieces of furniture. This most disappointing feature is the warning print that is PRINTED on the outsides of both crib ends. We purchased white furniture that was almost ruined with black print that is IKEA’s way of limiting their liability. Luckily, my husband was able to remove most of it with rubbing alcohol but this could be a major problem if you weren’t able to remove the print first try and you risk ruining the paint/original finish. Wish there was another way for IKEA to effectively warn consumers without ruining the look of the product. This piece would have easily received 5 stars if it weren’t for the print. And if the print weren’t able to be removed, it would have probably received 1 star.3
It took some time toBernardineIt took some time to assemble. It is neat and nice to look at. It’s a good space for the baby.4

Great but one pretty significant flawSheenaI love this crib for the simplicity of it, it is sturdy, durable and we never worry about our baby teething and possibly getting from chewing on the wood. The issue we have is with the head and foot boards. They are thin and our when our baby even slightly nudges them they make such aloud sound, It has scared all of us awake more than a few times. By now we are sort of used to it and she sleeps through it but it wakes us up every now and then. Also, with buying mesh "bumpers" , this style makes it difficult to find and choose the correct fit.4
