Kitchen StapleKathrynWe do not have heat resistent countertops and these are great for lining up hot pots and pans for serving, and they also work great for drying those pots and pans after washing. We started with one now have several of these stacked up and ready to use. They are strong and well made. Apparently these can also be used on the wall with hooks for utensils but we have not tried that.5

I now own several and use them in many places, under plants, as a trivet for appliances in the kitchen, under the dish drainer board by the sink -- anywhere where I want to protect a countertop or other surface. What is stainless steel?
