The only improvement I can think of would be to have an option to make one or both of the pull ropes longer, but for all I know that might be a hazard. This was easy to put together, and seems really sturdy so far.5

The only thing I did not like was that one of the boards had an edge that was a bit rough to the touch and not as smooth as it should be. After having to go back to IKEA to return the first set due to the missing rope/handle, I did not want have to return to the store again due to the issue with the wooden board.3
