A waste of space...VictorThe drawers would be more useful if they actually filled the space. By dropping the drawer glides 3/4”, the drawers could be 3-1/4” deeper. Also, the drawers could easily be 1" longer to fill the space. This is why some people on ETSY are making a killing selling drawer inserts that are actually useful. I'll be making my own useful drawer inserts from now on.

Very usefulSusanI first bought a Kallax without any inserts. My 2nd purchase was a Kallax with drawers. They are very easy to install and very useful and look good.
Completely useless drawer as they are too smallBryanI purchased a Kallax bookshelf 3x4, so 12 squares, and ordered two of these drawer inserts to go with to be used with it for the purpose of storing CDs. While the rest of the squares would be used to store vinyl LPs. However, these drawers are so small that if you put a standard CD in them, positioned so you make two rows of 29 for a total of 58 CDs per shelf, you can't close the drawer... It's a few millimeters too small. So the only option is to rotate the CD, making it so you can't see the label, and then you can get one row of 29 rotated one way, and two rows of 13 rotated perpendicular for a total of 55 CDs. However, you'll not know what any of the CDs are because you can't see the label.

Great ideaCarolynThese are great idea. Disappointed that two of the three sets were damaged when I received them. The three sided pieces were torn on fold seams I was able to glue and fold enough that I could anchor them. The part of drawer in back was splitting. I should of sent the two sets back but didn't want to wait another week or two to put kallag shelves together. Loved the kallag cubbies and the Billie shelves and the other shelf inserts. Would of loved getting a couple more drawer inserts but don't want to stress about them arriving damaged. I ordered I believe 5 billies and about 10-12 of kallags and another shelf. They all arrived safely and love them. Will have to think about the drawers sets.
