Really hard to install Anonymous reviewerI bought these on the spur of the moment to fit into a well established Kallax. I was worried that the colour wouldn't match, but it was great. I know IKEA drawers tend to be flimsy but don't intend to overfill these. Obviously they hold significantly less than a usual Kallax box (which fits three/four sets of double bedding) but this was my intention to save the deep rummage! I don't know if newer Kallax units have pre drilled holes, but I found it impossible to screw these into my unit by hand and had to resort to the electric screwdriver. They are flimsy, even more so than expected but they look good and I suspect they'll do the job. Not sure if the holes in the side of my unit will rip a typical box when I switch back after my vow not to overload fails! I'd suggest only attempting this if you have strong wrists or an electric screwdriver/drill. The rest of the assembly was easy though.
Very nice however Received damaged..Anonymous reviewerI ordered this piece online with other components for the same unit. As I did not open the package until a couple of months after receiving I was disappointed to find that the frame was damaged - torn / split in two places. As return to the store was not an option, Thankfully I managed to 'repair' the frame so that it is not noticeable. I may at some point need to replace this piece. I would recommend this piece but advise to be cautious & maybe check before purchase or asap after receiving if online order.

Good drawers for kales unit BUT not as good quality as beforeAnonymous reviewerI brought these for some spaces in my Kallex unit I’m Disappointed with the quality of the carcass they are thin and seem like heavy cardboard, I have some drawer units from a few years age the carcasses are same thickness as the drawer fronts very sturdy, these new ones are thin I don’t think they will stand up to constant use but time will tell

What is fibreboard?
