Professional quality if you follow instructionsAnonymous reviewerI have struggled to find a good knife sharpener but this is perfect Follow this guide and you will have sharp knives all the time Put some cooking oil (I use sunflower) into the sharpener. Run blade through first wheel 20 times, push forward then pull through counts as one. Ensure you do not apply too much pressure and run the blade through slow and central. Make sure to run right to the tip of the blade. Repeat with 2nd and third wheel. Do not clean the blade between wheels, this helps to keep rougher surface. Once you have finished with wheel 3 was blade under cool water then dry it. Check to see if blade is sharp along the full edge. Repeat if needed. My knives have never been sharper. That goes for kitchen knives, camping knives and others. Fantastic product but requires oil not water. The rubber bottom and handle are a big plus too5
