Care
The best way to extend the life of your outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly and not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary.
Clean: With a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean and dry cloth.
Maintenance: Require no maintenance.
Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.

Marked in many placesAnonymous reviewerSetting aside the many marks on these chairs they are comfortable and sturdy. But at nearly £100 for 2 they just seem to be run of the mill cheap plastic chairs. Only not returning as had them delivered and would be a major pain to exchange them for 2 more that are also no doubt marked. Also took several hours and several people to prise them apart - we dare not stack them again. IKEA quality is sadly dropping but your prices aren't. Pity because we like them and I'm sure we will get over it - but not the point really is it when you buy new products.
Durable and stylish Anonymous reviewerI’ve got two of these and I’m in my 3rd summer of using them. They have stayed out all year, survived the elements, endless leaves and clean up well with detergent. I have now moved house and want to buy another one or two for the other patio area in my garden. So pleased they still have this colour. I use cushions with mine, they don’t get as hot to sit in this way. l have back issues and can sit in these all evening without problems.

I took the leap and blind-bought it without trying and I have to say, you get so much out of these chairs. heavy enough not to get blown around by the wind but light enough to carry and reposition as needed. easy to clean, draining hole is a plus during rainy weather, and love the height of the arms, feels like a cocoon. another great IKEA purchase.
*my chairs arrived badly scuffed but I cannot fault the IKEA customer service team who helped me resolve the issue.
my feedback going forth is to have recyclable packaging to cover the edges of the product, as currently it arrives as-is.
Fabulous chairs Anonymous reviewerBought 2 of these after reading reviews. They are super comfy even without cushions . They look so modern and can be left outside all year . They were stacked for delivery and took a bit of work to get them separated but got there in the end . Highly recommend.

It’s comfy even without a cushion at the back - although better with one naturally. It is so smart. I agree with other reviewers that it’s tricky to separate a few from each other so maybe put something between them if you’re planning on stacking but I will be leaving mine out. Top marks from me.

Great size and the beige is a lovely colour. Goes perfect with the Lagaskar coffee table. Superb quality, much heavier than those cheap flimsy plastic garden chairs. At this price it is a steal!
