Not long enough if you have high skirting boards.Anonymous reviewerMy skirting boards are 10cm tall, which isn't particularly high by modern standards. My other kitchen cabinets are 13cm off the floor to get them above the skirting board. These legs don't have enough height adjustment to get the Metod cabinet above the skirting board and at the same height as the other cabinets. When adjusted to the required height, the leg falls off the stud. I had to buy M10 extension studs and nuts to raise the legs higher. There should be a longer version available or an extension kit to accommodate taller skirting boards. The metal finish is just a thin sheet or tube covering a plastic nut, it would be better if it was solid stainless steel to take the weight of heavy pots and pans and a heavy worktop. The bottom part of the foot has a thin metal cap, which is loose on some of the feet. Ikea should provide information on the leg height range, stud & hole metric thread information, baseplate hole positions, loading limits in each axis.3

LegsAnonymous reviewerGood quality, good price legs, what more can I say.5
Alternative to the METOD wall fixing barAnonymous reviewerUsed this legs at the back and front of the base units due to the partition wall studs and down electric wires and that they raised the units above the High Skirting, as an alternative to the METOD bar wall fixing bar.5
Great productAnonymous reviewerI used these on a Kallax unit. The great advantage… adjustable feet! Our house has few right angles… including the floor. With a spirit level and the adjustable legs my unit not only looks good but is level !5

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
