Dish rack that doesn’t hold dishes Anonymous reviewerOur IKEA plates don’t fit no matter which way you assemble it. We’ve visited since we bought it and noticed the display was assembled differently in-store so thought we’d done it wrong - the display was wrong and also still didn’t hold plates.1
Everything Falls OverAnonymous reviewerThis dish drainer is extremely inconvenient. The rack where plates are meant to be placed is positioned at an angle so all the plates simply slide off. It feels unsafe to use, nothing stays in place and putting dishes there risks them falling and breaking. The photos make it look like the rack is positioned in a more practical way, but in reality it is set at a different angle, which is why everything falls over. Honestly, it would be better to buy a cheaper alternative as this one simply does not do its job.1
ok;butAnonymous reviewerreally needs a drip tray.at least the material seems more robust than the hultarp which rusted but did have a drip tray!3
Not all pieces presentAnonymous reviewerNo screws !1
I like shooting at ikeaAnonymous reviewerVery nice I like it5
GreatAnonymous reviewerGreat product5
BrilliantAnonymous reviewerI bought this dish drainer a few years ago (4…5?), and I am happy with it, despite other reviews, it is stable, rust free, my plates don’t fall (IKEA plates), however I agree with one of the comments from other reviews, which mention that the bottom rack has got very small holes, I would prefer something like the top rack, other than that I am very happy with the product5
Good drainerAnonymous reviewerIt's well made and easy to assemble. Slightly to big for my drainer, 5cm less would be ideal.
Cleans down well when washing it.5
Good quality but needs a trayAnonymous reviewerExcellent quality rack although took some effort to construct. Quite substantial and I needed to add a tray to catch the draining water since it did not fit on my draining board. I found my "boot tray" ideal in size so was very happy.4
Not very good.Anonymous reviewerI bought this as a replacement for a cheap rack we had, I bought from Ikea not just for value, but as I thought their products weee well designed.
The bars are too close together, this means anything other than plates fall over. I would return it but it’s been some months. It’s frustrating every time I use it. 1
Just like the picture Anonymous reviewerI really like this. I bought it for my mum.
I don’t know how long it’ll last as it’s brushed steel which I’m hoping won’t rust very quickly. Only time will tell but it’s a great size, fits pretty much everything on there.
Allows for wine glasses to fit on the bottom tray perfectly and looks sleek.
Price isn’t bad at all for the size.
I’d rate this an overall 7.5/10 based on the material of this product.4
The worst drainer Anonymous reviewerVery disappointed with the design of this dish drainer. Dishes keep falling off and they don’t stay properly. Wrong choice though!1
Excellent buyAnonymous reviewerVery happy with this drainer. It is roomy and effective. 5
Easy to look at and easy to buildAnonymous reviewerIt was good4
Good quality. Anonymous reviewerI had one of these before but needed a new one. My old one was old and I could get it sparkle again. Did last for many years though so can’t complain. You can fit loads on it. It’s great. 5
Nice design and plenty of spaceAnonymous reviewerI bought the item to replace a previous one that had gotten rusted somehow, not sure how but had it for years.
Easy to assemble, tough and looks good. It thought it was less than ten quid but it is twenty, so that was the only disappointment.4
Good itemAnonymous reviewerGood item5
Just as it saysAnonymous reviewerGood quality, slightly bigger than l thought but just reposition where l normally stand it. Very pleased 5
Good size but not great performanceAnonymous reviewerThe rack is good size but the bottom shelf does not drain at all! The holes are too small and the dishes just stand in a pool of water. Also, the alignment of the parts could have been better as the whole thing is not straight and therefore wobbly.2
Nearly greatAnonymous reviewerWe've had this for a while and its great.
Holds a good amount for a family of 5, who eats well. One caveat is that the bottom surface holes are to small and water doesn't often drain properly. Leading to too pooling until it drains/evaporates leaving 'remnants' daily. We rinse after washing. So its the minerals in the water being left behind from pooled water. And this means daily wiping. If the holes were double or treble the size, it would greatly aid draining and minimise that issue.
Lastly, would benefit from having a cutlery added, but one can buy one separately. So this can be a negative or a positive.4
