Not the cheapest but feels sturdy and comfortableAnonymous reviewerOnly negative is price point is a tad high for a can opener but I think it is worth it. I use them a lot and have had multiple cheaper ones break at the spindle part. This has held up so far. The biggest pro is the comfort though on the twisting part - very comfortable to use as it's curved. Unlike others, the handle doesn't dig into your thumb, which gets sore when opening multiple cans at a time etc.
DisappointedAnonymous reviewerI'm usually delighted with IKEA purchases, this was a total disappointment. As soon as I tried to use it the plastic drive lugs to the mechanism handle sheared off. Sadly a very poor design using plastic where significant torque will happen. IKEA rose to the occasion and provided an immediate refund, which is to their credit.
Easy to handleAnonymous reviewerWorks as expected.
Can opener…Anonymous reviewerDoes exactly what it should, smooth and solid
Doesn’t workAnonymous reviewerBought it in store. Doesn’t open tins. Doesn’t even pierce the tin so you can turn and open the tin.
Very goodAnonymous reviewerThis is good and is a good size, would buy again
Can openerAnonymous reviewerWorks as it should
Don’t workAnonymous reviewerThese do not grip onto the rim of the can enough to allow the cutting wheel to push through. The can keeps” dropping” out of the opener.
Tin openerAnonymous reviewerThis is good quality at a great price. It's both light but sturdy. Can certainly recommend it.
Well builtAnonymous reviewerGood strongly built

Can openerAnonymous reviewerThis works great
Works really well.Anonymous reviewerHad my last one for years. Purchased this as a replacement. Works really well so ease to open tins now.
not greatAnonymous revieweri have purchased two of these over the years... they look and feel sturdy, but they get loose after a few uses and end up chewing the cans up... I thought the first one was a flaw, so bought another one some time later... the same thing happened. there wont be a third
Can openerAnonymous reviewerMaybe it’s just me but I can’t get cans opened all the way round with this, it stops and starts. Had to buy a different type
Tin opener that works!Anonymous reviewerSuper tin opener after throwing a recent purchase from another store after losing the receipt. My new replacement from Ikea last week works a treat. Very happy with my purchase.
Koncis tin openerAnonymous reviewerBought this can opener can't get it to work .
Went put it on side can and the handle won't turn on it .
Just sticks .
BrilliantAnonymous reviewerHaving nearly taken my finger end off last Sunday with two different openers (which were on the expensive side) I put this in my basket two days ago (with a peeler). I can only say that it is brilliant.
Not very goodAnonymous reviewerScrew for the wheel comes loose and does not cut the lid easily

What is stainless steel?
Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
