Gluten-free brownies with coffee & nuts

Pamper your guests and make coffee flavored gluten-free brownies with crispy hazelnut and chocolate topping. Yum!

Serves: 8-10 | Preparation time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

3.5 oz BELÖNING dark chocolate with coffee crunch

1 cup cooked black beans

3 eggs

3 tbsp cocoa

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla powder

2 tbsp strong coffee

7 tbsp butter

1/2 tsp salt

Step by step

  1. Heat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Melt the butter and allow it to cool.
  3. Rinse the beans thoroughly.
  4. Finely chop the chocolate.
  5. Mix all the ingredients except the chopped chocolate into a smooth batter in a food processor.
  6. Pour the batter into an oven dish approximately 10x8 inches lined with baking paper.
  7. Sprinkle the chocolate over the batter. 
  8. Bake in the middle of the oven for 25 minutes.
  9. When the cake has cooled, roughly chop the hazelnuts and roast them in a dry frying pan.
  10. Melt the chocolate in a water bath. Spread the chocolate on the cake. Top it with the hazelnuts and cut the cake into squares – or serve it in the pan and let your guests help themselves.
