Disappointing KelseyThis bed is flimsy at best. Requires constant fixing. I bought it in July, it’s now January and I’m replacing it. I regret buying it, don’t recommend. IKEA is generally pretty good quality so this bed is especially disappointing. Feels like a waste of money

Love the Bed- Here’s How to Make Assembly EasySofiaI love this bed frame and wanted to share a tip to make assembly easier. The instructions can definitely be confusing, mostly because each piece of hardware is listed by an 8-digit code. To simplify, I used a bright pen to assign letters (A, B, C, etc.) to each hardware item on page 3, then wrote those letters next to the matching items throughout the instructions. This way, you don’t have to match long serial numbers every time you need a bolt. It takes a few extra minutes to set up, but it made assembly a breeze for me. I didn’t need the level, clamp, or even a drill. Hope this saves someone a headache. :) I paired the bed with: (3) HILJA curtains (two panels per pack, so six panels total). My bed is against a wall, so no curtains behind the headboard. Get (4) if you want curtains on all four sides. They're the perfect mix of privacy and breeziness! And great price for the quality of the curtains. You do not need hardware- curtains will slide right onto the top frame poles.
Daughter loves this canopy bedHeatherOur daughter really wanted to have a canopy bed with curtains so she can have a little "fort". We needed a full size, and this was available at Ikea. As with most furniture, the bed came together quickly with minimal issues, and thanks to it being lightweight, she was able to hold up the sides during the build process. Happily, it is very sturdy and the curtains she picked out went on easily!
Super cute bed! Instructions are wrong! LauraThe bed is super cute and has given my teen daughter’s room that extra something special. We were able to use it with our existing box spring and it looks and feels solid. Although ultimately it was easy to put together, we did get stuck on the first step which clearly indicates you are supposed to use one set of cross bars for the headboard, but they absolutely do not work. We made a leap of faith and went against the instructions, using the other set of crossbars, and everything was fine. But it was pretty frustrating to be stuck on step one for as long as it took to complete the rest of the build. Definitely worth it though!

A few things to note:
—it was a bit difficult to assemble and you’ll definitely need more than one person.
—the bed creaks/squeaks. This is maybe from the metal rubbing against itself? Not sure.

Beautiful and easy to assembleLisaI am decidedly not handy, and the idea of putting together IKEA furniture gives me anxiety. However, with the limited help of my 13 year old, we got this bed assembled in no time. It is sturdy, and with the tulle curtains it truly is beautiful. Would not hesitate to buy again.
The worst instructionsLawrenGuys, please update the instructions for this bed! The instructions are wrong. We had to really wrap our brains around how this was to be put together and make it work. The instructions are not updated to the new hole patterns on the posts and clearly things changed on assembly.
