This is my recommendation versus the smaller versionKatharineSpend the extra three dollars and purchase this rather than the smaller version. There is less "mechanism" visible as far as the lighting at the base. The smaller version is nice, but this is definitely worth a few extra dollars. It simply shines more prominently with less lighting "mechanism" visible. The 6hour timer is a nice feature as well!
