VINLIDEN sofa has generous proportions with a high back and large, soft cushions that allow you to sink into the sofa.
The included small pillows give you nice lumbar support when sitting on the sofa and are perfect to lean your head against when taking a nap.
Hakebo cover feels soft and smooth and has a nice texture that makes the sofa comfortable and inviting.
A design without loose parts makes the sofa very easy to assemble, disassemble and reassemble, for example if you want to easily take it with you when you move.
The 3-seat sofa with chaise has storage under the seat where you can store things you want close at hand.
You can place the chaise section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.

Cushions lost most of their density in less than two years - not worth the moneyPriscillaOverall, this sofa is not worth its money at over $900. While it looks great, is easy to assemble, and the washable and changable covers are a huge plus, the plush comfort of the sofa cushions only lasted about two months. Since then the cushions have lost a good amount of their density. Now, less than two years of owning it with normal daily use, you can easily feel the front frame when sitting down and the "tarp" that supports the cushions has also stretched which further adds to the sagging. After doing some research into considering replacing the foam with new, higher quality foam, I can confidently say that the foam inside these cushions does not seem to meet the 2.2 lb/cu.ft. density rating that the product page lists under materials. True 2.2lb/cu.ft. high-resilience foam easily should last 7-10 years before losing its support. Trying to get this looked into under the 10 year warranty by IKEA has gone unanswered so far as well. Therefore I cannot recommend this sofa to anyone.
Worst couch I have ever owned vinliden sofa with chaiseLilaRegardless of your experience sitting on the floor model vinliden DO NOT BUY.
Brand new out of the box it looks and feels incredibly cheap. The entire seat bench area tilts back towards the floor. So much so that after less than 15 min of sitting on this brand new couch your hips and back are throbbing.
I had to pay for it to be delivered and now I will have to pay to get rid of of. It's horrible.
Not like the floor modelNicolePurchased this 4 months ago. I saw it in the store and loved how plush it was, like a giant pillow. When it arrived, however, the foam core pieces were very hard and the softer pieces didn't come with enough filling so they just sunk in. The chaise part is all foam core and very hard to sit on. It's ugly and unpleasant. I've been buying furniture from IKEA for decades and have mostly loved my purchases. This sofa, however, I cannot recommend. The return process is a pain. I have to disassemble, buy giant boxes for the oversized pieces since I got rid of the original boxes they came it (I think this sofa came in a series of like 6?! boxes between the cushions and the structure). Then I have to either rent a truck for an in-store return since my car won't be able to handle all of the pieces or pay a pick up fee (if they're picking up, why can't they pick up the whole couch? Why do I need to take it apart again??). Hesitant to buy IKEA in the future after going through this.
We love it AbigailThis is the perfect first time couch buyers couch! It’s cozy, comfy, and the absolute perfect size for our apartment. The chaise absolutely makes it— and the fact that it’s movable and flexible is even better. Plus the storage space for blankets is quite nice! The best part overall is the color- we are truly in love.
Waste of MoneyOmarJust got my sofa and hate it, everything is saggy no cushion, the chase part is horrible I highly don’t recommend it. I tried it on the floor model and not the same. I’m very disappointed in this sofa. Never buying IKEA Furniture again. I learned my lesson.

Worth itRebeccaI’ll agree with the 5-star reviews. As with all IKEA things, you need to pay exact attention to the instructions. The instructions are clear, but I missed one step and didn’t understand another initially. I’ve taken to sleeping on the couch some nights. The fabric is soft and a great benefit to be able to remove and wash. It’d be nice if the short legs were a teeny more elegant, but I’m happy with this purchase.

Comfy couch!CheyenneThere were a lot of options, we tested in store, and didn't even think about how people testing and sitting on couches over time would flatten them. It was a surprise it was as padded as it is when it came out of the box! I think my husband was a little disappointed because he was expecting what he sat on in store, but I'm pretty happy with it. I've had a couple naps on it, and a friend crashed on our couch for a couple of nights as well. Great padding for sleeping!
The only thing I'm a little bummed out about and wish I noticed before purchasing is that the chaise storage on this couch has a soft bottom. IIRC some of the other models have a wood bottom. I would've liked a sturdier storage area so we could store our weighted blanket. Just a minor gripe.
Overall it works fantastically, and I hope it lasts us a while as our first couch!

However, it was difficult to put together and was missing necessary hardware that we had to replace from a local hardware store, since a return trip to the store was several hours. For the price I would opt to buy a couch I didn't need to assemble in future.
