Beautiful diffuse lightKevinI had picked up another lamp for my bedroom and put it at the foot of my bed, but I could see the bare bulb through the pendant. I moved that lamp and put this one, with six bulbs in it to boot, and put it in the exact same spot. It feels restful and comfortable even when I stare right at it before turning out the lights as I unwind in bed.
If you're thinking about buying this, save your timeJakeI've now bought two of these lamps and neither one has functioned properly. Both times they were assembled to the letter and the first time it attempted to start a fire, and the second time the recommended light bulbs did not fit and would not illuminate despite them being screwed in tight and the lamp receiving power (tested with a multimeter). The bulbs fail to make contact with the tabs and no amount of modification would allow them to. Aside from functionality issues, the parts are cheap and flimsy and the base arrived dirty out of the box. Go to a local store and buy something other than this waste of time.
NiceRalfI really like this light. I’m using smart bulbs that go down to 1500K at night, creating a really pleasing effect. The problem is this needs six bulbs, which gets expensive. It also means that the light level is uneven along the surface of the light. This light would probably be better with an LED strip to create a more even level of illumination.

buy something actually worth 50$ Marissame and my husband got this for our room & when put together it was absolutely terrible. The “shades” are paper.. & it fell apart as we tried to move it. The middle pieces are so unstable and wobbly, there’s basically nothing keeping everything together. We took the “shades” off and are using it with just the bulbs and it honestly looks better that way 😭 0/10 do not recommend, get a better lamp for cheaper elsewhere because that’s what i wish we had done.
Leans slightly, but niceJessicaI prefer lower light levels in my home. I originally ordered plain LED bulbs for this lamp, but they were far too bright and couldn't be dimmed. I replaced them with HUE bulbs that can be dimmed (which was expensive) and now the color tone and light level are perfect. The lamp is so tall, though, that it tends to lean. I've situated it several times and it ends up leaning again.

Lovely Floor LampDawnI wanted a shorter floor lamp that has light down lower, not just at the top. This is an Asian inspired, modern design and it looks very nice. The lamp is a bit fragile and needs care when moving it.

Felt and looked cheapMarkFlimsy, rickety, fragile, shorter than anticipated. Illuminates well enough for people who sit on the floor, but considering this things is just slightly above the average height of most chairs and couches, most of the light will illuminate the sides of furniture. This thing feels so very wobbly, like it was a result of dare for a pop stick furniture making competition and then some Ikea exec said, "yeah, I think we can make that work."
Great Looking but Cheap MaterialsDorianLamp looks great, lights up my office as expected. But it's really cheap material which makes the lamp fragile. One of the prongs that holds the ring on the light pole broker when putting it together. I had to tape the ring to the pole to keep the lamp stable. I guess as long as you don't move the lamp after putting it together you'll be ok. I wouldn't buy it again.

So brightElizabethOur living room is very dark and we do not have any ceiling light. This light gives off so much light! Only down side is if you are sitting right next to it - it’s quite bright in the eyes. Easy to put together. The white sheets seemed flimsy at first but have been fine.
Nice LightKimberlyNice light for the price. A bit too bright with all six bulbs so I only used 3 and made sure it was the 3 in front so the rear lights didn’t back light the center bar so it doesn’t show through the panels.
