If you want to create a longer and extendable shelf of up to 28.7 inches, you can complete with VARIERA shelf insert 12.5x5.1x6.3 inches. Sold separately.
You get a good overview in your cabinet by placing the shallow shelf insert on top of the deeper one.
The shelf insert can be used in any kitchen, old or new, to create more storage space.

Office FunctionalityJamesI'm using 3 of these at my office under my desk. They are serving as a shelf for my Dokument magazine holders, so they don't sit on the floor. As the building was renovated, I was moved to a nicer, but smaller office so I needed to use the space a bit smarter.

Like it ButJessI love that this is metal and it's versatile. You have to assemble which I did easily with a screwdriver. While assembly is pretty simple it's worth a few notes. I have bought these twice and both times I ended up having to take them apart bc I forgot to pay attention to where the holes are, which way I wanted to use the shelf (up for a lip or down for no lip), and to stack as I was assembling if I wanted to screw two units together (don't screw them together and then try to stack unless you don't want them screwed together). Also the labels are annoying to get off which is something I unfortunately see a lot with some Ikea items. Overall, I like the materials and the design but the label is annoying and pay attention to the holes and if you will be joining units before you start screwing.

Miracle space maker!EduardoI wish I could add s picture of the wonders I was able to do with these. I was able to fit 12 regular size plates on the bottom along with 20 dessert plates(stacks of 10) side by side on the top. Got another shelf where I was able to stack 2 tea sets! I ended up with extra space when I couldn't fit everything at first. Definitely must buy!
