Our innovation for sleeping comfort – S-core pocket springs distributed in a wave shape. Two layers of pocket springs for double comfort and support will help you wake up feeling refreshed.

7 comfort zones support not only the hips and shoulders but the whole body with a unique spring design for natural spine alignment and comfort.

The S-core with pocket springs seamlessly follow the curvature of the spine, helping to ease pain. An extra layer of springs is more responsive to movements and relieves pressure points.

Edge-to-edge pocket springs allow air to circulate for better breathability and there is no loss of comfort if 2 mattresses are placed next to each other.

An extra thick layer of foam on top gives you a cushioning comfort.

As you move, the cover in soft stretch fabric follows your body – and extra wadding offers a luxurious feel.

You can sit or sleep close to the edge without sliding off since the mattress has reinforced edges.

The mattress may need about 72 hours to fully regain its shape and comfort after having been roll-packed. Any wrinkles will disappear too.

Sometimes the packaging may have given the mattress a noticeable smell which will disappear over a short period of time.

HorribleKearaThis mattress sinks in horribly, if you sit at the edge of the bed you slide off because there is no support. It’s very lumpy and uneven. I called to get it replaced with a different mattress and they will not switch it out when they deliver the new one. I have to bring it to the store 2 hours away and they will give me a credit. Horrible service when I called the customer service line.1
Too soft; different than European modelMichaelWe bought this exact same model in the same stiffness, In Italy and loved it. But the US model is definitely softer and has very little edge support. We experimented by putting it on a hard floor to see if that Made a difference. It did help but was still too soft. We were able to return it for a store credit, but we had to talk to someone on the phone and save a copy of the chat with them to show the store manager when we got there. But she was very nice about it and gave us the credit after talking about it2
It's not equivalent to HaugsvarJaneWe needed to upgrade from our queen size Haugsvar (discontinued) to a king size and followed the recommendation that Vagstranda would be the equivalent. It's close but not quite. While it's comfortable once you're horizontal on it, the edges are so soft, i.e. no structure other than the foam and coils underneath, that you cannot sit on the edge of it. The Haugsvar was truly the better mattress. I'm giving the Vagstranda only 3 stars for that reason, but if you're OK with the soft edges, it is truly very comfortable. I wish we could have kept the Haugsvar. Don't get me wrong, half of everything I own came from IKEA, and I have never been disappointed with the quality. Love the products. Love the space-saving designs. Just disappointed with this particular item's lack of equivalence. j3

False advertising, look elsewhere NathanWe purchased this mattress in “firm” March 2025, after having/loving our previous Ikea mattress for nearly 10 years. This one has no edge support whatsoever and is ridiculously soft. By June it had started to sag where we sleep, and neither of us are big/heavy in stature. A combination of living hours away from the store, receiving mixed information about return options and a family emergency meant we have been stuck with this nightmare. We love Ikea and have been loyal customers for nearly 20 years, but this has left us feeling ripped off during a difficult financial period for most people. 1
