Not the stated size.AnonymousThese are not 18". My cabinet is exactly 18" wide. The basket is 15". Not even the plastic spacer can make up for a THREE INCH DIFFERENCE. Whoever writes product descriptions needs to be much clearer, as this is the second set of drawers that I've bought from ikea and needed to replace because of this exact issue (size not as written)1
Poor DesignJeff B.The worst Ikea product that I have purchased. Recently installing sektion cabinets in 3 areas in my home with many cabinets and drawers, including drawers that fit inside other drawers, etc. Everything has been great aside from this item. I should have paid closer attention to the reviews, as they are spot on for 1-Star. It appears as though there has been a product revision at some point where there are spacers included in the 24 inch wide version. These spacers go between the cabinet and the slide. With the spacers installed the wire basket will not slide. I had to remove a spacer from 1 side in order to get it to function at all on the first drawer, and both shims on the 2nd drawer. As stated in other reviews, the front roller does an inadequate job of keeping the wire basket in place once you have it "installed". Ikea needs to re-think this design. I will likely be removing these. These were put below a "fixed shelf so the cibinet spacing was spot on for width. Dont buy.1

Poor QualityAnonymousPurchased 4 of these for a pantry cabinet. Instructions seem to indicate plastic spacers are required, though after install it seems obvious that they are not and are only included to accomodate imprecise sized baskets. The baskets are not consistently sized/shaped. One of my 4 baskets scrapes the sides as it goes in and out regardless of which of the 4 glide positions it's installed on (using none of the plastic spacers). One of mine is not square so without a significant amount of weighted items in the basket, it does not sit flat in the glides. As other's stated the open wheel which the wire edge sits in is easy for the basket to jump out of, especially with little weight, or if the basket is not perfectly shaped. This all may be part of using bendable wire construction which makes these inexpensive, and able to see through. I would rather pay the significant difference for the superior quality maximera drawers.2

Very disappointed, due to poor qualityMATT G.The quality on these is very low. The placement of the screws gets in the way of the basket gliding on the rack if you cannot get the screws 100% flat (which is most of them, and they got stripped in the process of trying to do so). Additionally, the wheel is an open design in the front and the basket can shift left to right easily therefore not aligning with the wheel making it not roll. Overall a very poorly conceived design that leads to bad implementation and a lot of frustration.1

Successfully installed in non-IKEA cabinetsIstukeSee my review for the 24 UTRUSTA wire basket for details, but, with careful measuring, we were able to install these in our non-IKEA frameless cabinets. Saved us lots of money and very happy with the quality of these baskets.5
Can be modified to fit non-IKEA cabinetsIstukeWe bought each of the 3 sizes of these baskets and installed them in our non-IKEA frameless kitchen cabinets. You must measure VERY carefully to be sure they'll work for you - and you may need to make a few adjustments. They come with a long, thin plastic spacer in case you need to adjust for a little bit of room. For example, our 18 cabinets are exactly wide 16.5 inside. The 18 basket fit perfectly with one spacer. However, our 24 cabinets are 22 7/16 wide inside and with no spacer installed, are sometimes tight. [The inside depth of our cabinets is 23 1/8] Again - they are not meant to be used outside of IKEA cabinets, but it may be possible. We saved hundreds of dollars by buying these instead of the inserts sold by our cabinetry supplier. We're very happy with how sturdy these are and how smoothly the roll when installed correctly.5

Works great!Kp1984I bought this for my IKEA kitchen. Two for base cabinet (24x18x30) and two for high cabinet (24x24x80). Just like some of the other reviewers, I did have to do an adjustment. When putting on the rails, I only put the plastic flat piece between rail and cabinet on the side where I had the door hinges. So I only used 1 plastic flat piece for each drawer.4
