After two years of draping blankets over it, I decided to put some cushion covers on the back cushions. I took a chance on these, knowing it was for a non-IKEA couch. They fit! I am so happy. The pugs can chew on it as much as they want as long as they don't mess with the leather! I got the Kilanda light beige and it looks better in person than in the photo. It's not a "luxurious" feel, per the description, but looks good.

So far I LOVE it! JacobI was a bit hesitant to buy this slipcover because of some mixed reviews, but I’m so glad I went for it! The corduroy fabric is incredibly soft—such a nice upgrade from my old, stiff cover. It fits the UPPLAND sofa so much better and looks more tailored and cozy. The color is exactly what I was hoping for—very beige, with a warm neutral tone that works perfectly in my space. Also, IKEA’s return policy gave me peace of mind just in case it didn’t work out. Thankfully, I won’t be needing it. I love this slipcover!

Can the seat slipcovers be swapped for the correct size?
Way Too BigAnyaI bought these thinking they would be a good replacement for my Ektorp couch covers. I’ve had my Ektorp couches for 7 years and bought multiple covers over that time. These are way too big for them. They’re also terrible. Too thin and cheaper material. Why would they discontinue the Ektorp? Such a great couch and such great covers. So disappointed in IKEA. Looks like I’ll just need to buy a new sectional instead of having these anymore. We have FOUR Ektorps in the house, but now I can’t get new covers for any of them.

Hate it! HeatherHorrible quality! The fabric pills and shows every speck of anything. Cushions are one-sided so you can’t flip them. And you’re not supposed to put them in the dryer. So it doesn’t make washing them very easy.

Beautiful color and feelDwaynelove the color and feel of this Grey-green cover stumbled upon a floor model of the uppland sectional in this color and I instantly bought it. My issue is I have two other covers for my sofa white and the grey, sadly the gray-green does not fit as my other covers. the covers for the seat cushions are to large so they look sloppy and the cover for the frame of the sofa is a tad to small its twists on one side. not sure if its a defect or if its the nature of this color. scared to by another
Horrible QualityCarlyWe bought the Uppland sofa and loveseat because we needed more sitting room as we added an addition to our family. We had the Ektorp for years and absolutely LOVED IT. Since they discontinued it, we “upgraded” to the Uppland which is awful. The build is absolutely terrible as it is extremely unstable and unsafe for pets/children. The covers are even worse. They fray and pill after only a couple of times sitting on it. With our Ektorp, we never had this issue. Every time I would wash the covers, it would look like a brand new couch. I can’t find any covers even close to the quality of the Ektorp covers. I reached out to return it but just barely missed the return window. So disappointed with this product. I wish I could return it since it is unsafe for my child. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Uppland sofaErinI’ll never understand why IKEA discontinued the Ektorp. Had that model for years, and it was great. When it was time to get a new sofa, we went with the Upland because it was the closest. It was hard as a rock, and so uncomfortable. The fabric covers were very poor quality, as were the Cushions themselves., IKEA has a great return policy so we were able to return it after a month of having it at the house.
The Back is a differnt color - you can't flip it over Laurathe COVERS on the UPPLAND sofa have been a huge disappointment. The ribbed cover feels scratchy and doesn’t seem like it was made by IKEA for this piece. A non-OEM product might perform just as well, if not better. Additionally, the BACK has GRAY PATCHES against a cream cover, making it impossible to flip without it looking mismatched.

I recently bought the UPPLAND sofa from IKEA, and it has been a major letdown. After six years with the KLIPPAN, I expected a worthy upgrade, but what I received is far from it.
First, the back is mounted on a SWINGING HINGE. How is this safe for kids or pets? It feels cheap and unsafe, especially for a sofa nearing $1,000, and this design isn’t visible in images or in-store due to the covers.
The COVERS have also disappointed me. The ribbed cover felt like cheap fast-fashion fabric. The KILANDA cover is better but still poorly made. The BACK has GRAY PATCHES against a cream cover, making it impossible to flip without it looking mismatched.
After just a month, the cushions are sagging and losing their fluffiness. The overall comfort and support are not what I expected.
