The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 30,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

Upland Sofa - comfortable - but a few disappointmentsStephanieVery comfortable. Disappointed that after sitting on a cushion for awhile you can see the lines of the seat padding underneath. I bought two of these to replace Ektorps purchased in 2005 - that did not happen with the Ektorps.
I’m also disappointed that the cushion covers on the Upland are not reversible like the Ektorps purchased ones were.
Third the covers for the base of the couch still fit a little too tight and “pull” not looking as nice as they could- this also happened with the Ektorps.
I was pleased with the delivery , ease of set up and comfort.
Doesn't fit well.MaximI was shopping for the EKTORP sofa cover, and this product was recommended as an alternative. And I went to IKEA and purchased it. It too big for EKTORP, the cover hangs loose and looks terrible. I don't know why they recommend it as an alternative for EKTORP, it's not the same.
Perfect, beautiful coverRebeccaThis fits the Uppland Sofa beautifully, I suspect those with fit issues actually have the Ectorp Sofa which looks just like this but is smaller.
The fabric is thick and soft, it's lovely. Going to by a few extra.

Uppland coverMelodyThis cover seems thinner amd more velvety than the oroginal cover in same gray color, which I prefer! The OG cover was thick and rough when washed. This one has been washed several times already amd is holding up nicely! I love uppland though I miss the ektorp so much!
Not sure yetAmyI’m giving 4 for the moment. Sounds crazy but I have 5 of the sofas. This is the 1st “ replacement “ cover I ordered. I’m on the fence.. it’s Very large. So much, it borderline looks sloppy. But the others shrunk after washing. Not badbut definitely have to work to get them on. So maybe they’ve changed them? Made them too big because they’re going to shrink ? Idk? But definitely not what they were . On a side note, the cover almost looks worn .
Does not fit an Uppland couch EmilyCurrently bought this as a replacement cover due to my cats ruining the original cover that came with it, and it doesn’t fit. IKEA please do better as the dimensions are completely off by a foot.

What a piece of garbagePaulAfter one wash and minimal wear (I have three covers so we rotate them often), the material next to the zipper broke rendering one of the covers unusable.

Winner, WinnerAnonymousI have a leather couch from another company and one of my dogs loves to chew on the piping. After two years of draping blankets over it, I decided to put some cushion covers on the back cushions. I took a chance on these, knowing it was for a non-IKEA couch. They fit! I am so happy. The pugs can chew on it as much as they want as long as they don't mess with the leather! I got the Kilanda light beige and it looks better in person than in the photo. It's not a "luxurious" feel, per the description, but looks good.

So far I LOVE it! JacobI was a bit hesitant to buy this slipcover because of some mixed reviews, but I’m so glad I went for it! The corduroy fabric is incredibly soft—such a nice upgrade from my old, stiff cover. It fits the UPPLAND sofa so much better and looks more tailored and cozy. The color is exactly what I was hoping for—very beige, with a warm neutral tone that works perfectly in my space. Also, IKEA’s return policy gave me peace of mind just in case it didn’t work out. Thankfully, I won’t be needing it. I love this slipcover!
