What the Heaven????AnnI purchased the white Uppland chair cover, after waiting an extremely long time for a shipment to come. This Uppland chair cover is nothing like the former cover. This cover is roomier, less tailored, panels inserted are grey colored and thin. On both sides of the chair, the cover bellows out, because there’s too much fabric. The chair now looks sloppy. I long for my former cover; as it provided a more sleek, tailored look. I waited for this? IKEA, what happened??
UPPLAND armchair KimberlyLarge. Sturdy. Love the color of slipcover. Easy to assemble. Looks a little frumpy. Slipcover does not reach floor. So the pleated corners always stick out. Will snag easily with dogs. Price point was great. Took approximately 6 weeks to get delivered. Delivery guys were great.
Scratchy materialLindaThe chair cover is extremely scratchy. Putting elbows on arms of chair is uncomfortable so constantly moving arms in. Overall very unhappy with chair and cover.
Fits my Eddie Bauer air chair!TriciaI have an old Eddie Bauer arm chair that looks and measures very similar to the Uppland. You can no longer buy the Eddie Bauer slip covers for my chair and mine were worn and stained so I decided to order this one and it fits almost perfectly!!! You can’t even tell it wasn’t made for my chair. I think the fabric quality is great. I have pottery barn slip covers that are not as noce as these. I bought the matching Uppland ottoman and cover to go with my old chair and I am so happy!
Again a winnerSherryI purchased this with the uppland sectional and this is a cozy chair. I love that I can curl up in to read a book. So comfortable. I love that I can change the covers to match the sofa or accent it. The selection of sofa covers offer a lot of options.

Beautiful color!ShirleyI purchased this blue to change out my cream color cover on my chair. It fits perfectly and needed very little steam to be completely smooth. This is a very affordable way to add change in my decor and can always go back to the cream if I decide to change again.
Just fineBethWe had an Ektorp armchair that had issues. Ikea took it back for replacement with the current Uppland armchair 5 years after purchase. Five stars for Ikea service. The Uppland chair itself appears almost identical, but feels slightly heavier, which we like. The cover is not nearly as nice as the Ektorp cover. It is thinner, scratchier and has many more loose threads. Our Ektorp cover had a solid, consistent color, while the Uppland color has more of a pattern. Also, the Uppland cover is not all one material. The bottom is very thin and a different color. If you get a stain, you cannot just flip the cushion over.
Overall the cover is adequate. Maybe I would have liked it if I had never used the Ektorps. My old Ektorp cover was $29. My new $79 Uppland cover is worse in every way. I will admit that $29 for the previous cover was a ridiculously good deal and $79 is still very affordable.
Weak stitching, bad fabric. Do not recommend!AliciaThere's 180 days to return stuff. We'll I didn't need to was my covers until 192 days after purchase. After washing on delicate and air dry, they still shrunk. So the act of putting the chair cover on tore some of the stitching. IKEA is unwilling to replace the cover. So if you're going to subject yourself to the poor quality covers, at least try washing early on so you can return it and not be stuck with a poopoo product like me.
Don’t buy! SarahI’ve had ektorp sofa and chairs for years. They are fabulous. I needed two additional chairs and I bought the uppland as a close replacement. They are horribly uncomfortable, the covers are thin, cheap looking, gross feeling and aren’t holding up. Also, you can’t flip the bottom seat cushions because half of the fabric is somehow even nastier and cheaper looking that the rest of the cover . It’s also frustrating because they advertise a white cover for them but I’ve waited for months and they are still not available. Shoppers - don’t buy uppland! IKEA- bring back the quality of the ektorp!

Uppland ChairJodyNice and comfortable, curl up and read a book chair. Too bad they hardly ever are in stock since I want to buy more. Hard to recommend to friends when you can't buy one.
Bring back Ektorp Chair CoverVickiI had to purchase the Uppland chair cover since the Ektorp chair is no longer available :( It’s a little bigger, but it’ll do. I also noticed the bottom cushion is no double-side, there’s a gray thinner material, I guess IKEA is cutting corners vs making it more versatile and more practical. This is for a short term rental so needed a spare and this will have to suffice.
