Bring back the rose and sage floral cover from 2005VanessaI bought this chair in October 2005. It is still great! Only thing is I need a new cover but really want the same pattern. Chair is very comfortable. Everyone has loved sitting in it. The cover is still in good shape but the arms and seat are now dingy from years of use. Highly recommend the chair just hoping IKEA will re offer the exact same pattern again. :)
Downgrade from EktorpShannonI have the Ektorp couch and wanted the chair to match-- this one is a look alike, but is nothing like the ektorp in terms of comfort. First the feet are very tall and so the chair sits very high off the ground I'm 5'8 and can barely touch the ground. The cushion itself on the bottom of the chair is so hard and tall that you lose a lot of the back support because you're sitting up so high in the chair as well. If I could take it back I would. My cats like it so they're happy at least. I may try to figure out how to get shorter feet and a new cushion for the base of the chair maybe that will help.
Has become my favorite chairPatriciaAfter visiting store and sitting in all the chairs and sofas, there was a sofa/chair combo I planned to purchase. Went home and measured. It wasn’t going to work. Spent little time sitting in Upplands was not the style I was after. But I recalled how comfy it was. The measurements worked so ordered them. They arrived in days, were easy to assemble despite the size, and turned out lovely. I was mostly interested in the sofa as a place to stretch out, nap, etc. but it is the armchair I favor. Good back support arms on either side. I sit in it cross legged so it doesn’t matter to me if my feet can touch the floor. I’m small, btw. So, cross legged or with a stool this chair works for me. There are more options on where to place the chair than the sofa placement, so I put it in a windowed corner with trees outside and this chair is quite the haven. Also, my cat loves it. If I am not home she’s in it, and I’d say it is pet friendly and easy to keep clean. The swappable slipcover is a plus.

Big downgrade from Ektorp. Not happyMichaelThe cover fits poorly and you can hear the base "fabric" crinkling underneath. The cushions are quickly misshapen. I went with the Uppland because I wanted a chair with arms that could match the upholstery on Kivik which doesn't have an armchair in the series (also annoying). The Ektorp series was great, but the Uppland is a crummy look-alike.

Lovely!ElizabethI ordered this chair for our living room (along with the Uppland sofa) and we love it. In fact, I am going to order another chair. I love to curl up in it and read.
We ordered the blekinge white, which is a soft, creamy white, and not stark pure white. The order was easy to place and was delivered exactly when promised.
