I'd like to see IKEA offer just pegs for sale, perhaps in sets of 5 or 10 per order. This echoes a comment from March, 2024 by another reviewer. It's unlikely that there are only two of us who want more pegs that what is provided5

Product Seems ok BUT Measurement on Box is Misleading!ElizabethI drove 30 minutes to my closest IKEA and bought this product. The outside of the box says 30", another box said 24". You would assume that was the measurement of the product. NOPE. Product is 25" wide. Could not get a signal in the store to look at website, so only had the box in front of me to guess at dimensions. Have to drive back to IKEA to return. 2

good product but has limitationAustinIf you have you cookware collection has a size curated( for example 2 or 3 sizes for pots and pans), this product actually wastes more space. I purchased 2. One works great. The other one i returned due to this reason. But the product is of sturdy quality for the money.3

Better than expectedDeborahThe pegs are strong, and not too difficult to put in and/or remove even for someone with carpal tunnel syndrome. The fact that it comes in pieces is great; I used 3 pieces in one drawer and one in another. They can fit non-Ikea drawers, but you have to measure (the grid pieces are actually slightly less than the 19 1/2 inches indicated). The pegs plus the bottom grid stand 5 3/8" from the bottom of the drawer. So again, measure! If you want to use this to hold plates vertically, you may not have enough pegs. I stack my plates, so the pegs just keep the pile from sliding around. Am buying more! I am not sure these have the strength to hold a cast iron or large stainless steel frying pan on its side, but so far they seem reasonably strong and are holding my 8" and smaller stainless steel pots and frying pans with no issues. Wish I could attach a photo! To Ikea: black is soooo in-your-face; it would be nice if these were maybe grey? 4
Best IKEA product ever!AnnaI just sold my house where I had remodeled with an IKEA kitchen. The real estate agent loved it so much he suggested I leave all the drawer organizers. So here I am, ordering Uppdatera peg organizers for every drawer in my new house! 5

Not strong support.IrinaI bought it to be used for pans and lids. It’s not holding well anything that is in over then 10” in diameter. Very thoughtful idea. If the dividers would be taller or if we would have an option of having half original size and half taller ones. Love the idea of being able to customize large area with it. 3

More flexibility on the inside

IKEA has had cutlery trays, knife trays and other kitchen interiors in the range for a long time, but interviews with our customers made it clear that they needed to be updated. The inside of the kitchen might not be flexible enough when people develop new needs, tells Manuel Courela who was involved in the development of UPPDATERA. “The everyday in the kitchen changes, just like life itself. You meet someone and the family grows, you become a dedicated home cook or decide to go all-in for a new diet. Then it’s practical if the inside of the kitchen easily can join the ride.” Manuel shows how the cutlery caddy can be moved around and used in different ways. “Lift it out and put directly on the table when it’s time for dinner. Or store bottles with oil and vinegar in it.”

Adapt to your own kitchen

The idea with UPPDATERA is to make the interior organisers more flexible. The add-on tray in plastic is a good example. Place it next to a cutlery or utensil tray for a perfect fit and utilise the drawers in your existing kitchen better – no matter the size of them. “Not everyone has a kitchen from IKEA, but everyone can have IKEA functionality on the inside of their kitchen. We hope that the different UPPDATERA products will make a big difference without a big investment.”
