Disappointed with qualityMiaI was excited to use these stainless steel trays but I'm really disappointed. Even after soaking in vinegar, scrubbing with hot soapy water, and drying thoroughly, they still leave a black smudgy residue when I wipe them with a paper towel.
Probably it’s made from lower-grade stainless steel. That might explain the residue, but it’s not something I expected from IKEA. I don’t feel comfortable using these with food if they keep shedding unknown black material.
It’s brand new, and I shouldn't have to deep-clean a tray multiple times just to make it usable. Might be a manufacturing issue, but I wouldn’t recommend this product unless the quality improves.
