According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 242 lbs.

Things have changedAlexisStill a great sized chair, however not as comfortable as others I’ve purchased in the past. Maybe thinner padding? The cover doesn’t fit as well either. Still a great compact design
Good little club chairSarahPurchased one yesterday in beige. Would have purchased white, if available, but the beige looks nice with the HÄGGVECKMAL curtains in the man cave. Slipcover went on easily and fits nicely. Seat cushion foam is very firm so I replaced it with 2 down pillows from IKEA, one 26" square and one 20" square, plus a standard down lumbar cushion and rich brown faux fur cover and it's now comfy enough for long chats while sipping cocktails!

I have had several of these chairs, and love them...Anonymous reviewerHowever, needing replacement covers, I really dislike the current options. I have had white and a dark blue in the past and really like them. The beige is very ho-hum. Sitting here waiting for a decent colour to surface again. Shame. Many people have told me they won't buy these chairs now, for this reason.
Disappointing CoverJanetThis chair is a perfect size and green color. However, I am so surprised and disappointed that for a $300 chair, the cover does not fit! It gaps and creases across the arms and back, not even fitting against the back of the chair. I will have to exchange the cover to try a new one; if that fits the same way, I will return the whole chair. It is super disappointing and not the Ikea quality that I am used to.

Cover fit is a real issue AlanI am really not happy at all with the fit of the cover. It’s impossible to have it lay unwrinkled. I ironed my cover. It’s a poor fit or design. I am very unhappy for the first time ever with an IKEA product
Now WAY overpriced!SarahI wanted to get a matching set to the two
I already have. I paid less than $100 each for them in 2020. Now they are over $250 each! I LOVE them for the price I paid. They are cute and have held up well as we don’t use them regularly. I will say you cannot sit in them long as the cushions are thin but they are perfect as an accent chair in a bedroom. But for over $250 there is absolutely no way this chair is worth the price. No way.

Awesome Chair!!VivianI have wanted these chairs for the longest and I’m so glad I finally bought them. They are so comfortable and I like that they are traditional but can also be modern. I love my chairs!! But please IKEA, make more covers in different colors and some prints. I’m sore they would sell.

Super uncomfortable upper back supportJaberGet something else, not only is the cover really difficult to put on properly but the area where you lean your upper back digs into your back. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it because I opened it and the its bulky shape makes impossible to transport without a truck.
Great valueJenniferPerfect for small spaces and very comfortable. The removable, washable cover is a bonus! We purchased one last year, and just purchased a second to go with it. The only thing we don't like about the chair is the flat back support cushion, but the issue is easily addressed by just using your own throw pillows.
