Could be far more completeKatharineI purchased this set to keep very handy in my home for quick things versus in my workshop. I purchased it knowing it should be more complete and I did buy purchasing the Trixig level and tape measure. I felt it would be pretty complete this way. However, there is only one flathead screwdriver head. There should be a smaller one as well. One of the screwdriver heads is pretty much a spike and wouldn't be needed versus a smaller flathead.
I removed the blue liner, added the level and the tape measure. They all fit fine in there, though I would have liked individual places like that blue cut out. It would be an easy way to tell that something was missing out of it.
By no means do I advocate spending more money on things, but for a few more dollars could make this a far more complete kit for people who may not have a full array of tools like I have. This would actually be a very nice tool kit, if completed as I've suggested, for a college student or someone getting their first home.3
I needed simple toolsMilindaI used these tools to build the Alex drawers and I had everything I needed! The hammer I have was on its last leg and the metal hammer is about to separate from the wooden handle and I could never find the screw driver I needed so I bought this and it’s so convenient!! I would recommend and it’s a great price! I also got the other set that has drill bits! It’s all organized in one case! Looking to get other tools similar to this set up!5

Extremely soft metal.DorianLooks like a real toolkit, but the metal quality is extremely poor.
The screwdriver bit did not survive even a single screw. The tip visibly deformed and rounded off while the screw itself was completely fine. This wasn’t excessive force or misuse — just normal assembly torque.
The kit is nicely packaged and feels promising at first, but the steel is far too soft for anything beyond the lightest flat-pack use. If you expect to use these tools more than once, or on anything slightly tight, they will fail.
Fine as an emergency or disposable kit, but not durable or reliable.1
Very Well DesignedAndersonI bought this when I needed to partially take apart refurb furniture to get it home from IKEA. First, it saved my butt! When I realized how well it was made I was very impressed. The shape of the grips allows for leverage and are the most satisfying grips I’ve used. The tray lifts out and you can use the container to keep all of the nuts and bolts wrangled while you’re working. Finally, there are some formed areas that don’t contain anything but could accommodate extra bits or sockets. I decided to pick another one up as a gift for a friend.5
Good tool setSusanThis is a pretty good tool set. I got this for my son to use in college, so I haven't used it personally, but I appreciate that it comes in a handy storage box. I'm taking a star off because it only has one size of flathead screwdriver, and it's big. Another smaller flathead bit would make this set five stars.4

I prefer the old orange setCarolThese tools aren’t as effective as the older orange set. I tried to install small hooks and attach wire to a painting, but the small philips screwdriver didn’t align properly with a standard screw, and the pliers couldn’t cut through the metal wire. Just basic tasks the previous version handled with ease.2
