A simple and practical wall shelf that you can use for storage and as a display shelf.

With a wall shelf, you make the most of the wall area, while freeing up space on the floor.

The wall shelf has one bevelled and one smooth edge on the long side, so you can choose the side you want facing the room depending on which of the two different styles you like the most.

You can cut the wall shelf to exactly the length you need and use GRANHULT bracket to hide the cut edge.

Solid wood is natural, renewable and separable material.

Complete with 2 or 3 brackets. Sold separately.

A 47¼" long shelf carries a max. of 44 lbs when supported by 3 brackets and a max. of 22 lbs when supported by 2 brackets, when properly mounted on the wall.

If using only 2 brackets on a 47¼" shelf, the distance between the brackets should be 27½-31½".

Max. load refers to the max. weight before the shelf is risking to slant. Distribute the weight evenly on the shelf to avoid the risk of slanting.

Brackets are sold separately.

BUT, after hemming and hawing I decided to return because the length is not optimal for standard US stud spacing. A couple of inches longer and they would be perfect. Great shelf. Gorgeous in person. Mixed QAEliseThe beveling of this shelf is not ideally polished. On 3/10 of the first set of shelves I bought it was too rough to be usable. Unfortunately the stock isn't enough, it seems, to not use those, and IKEA is still short on them, so I've already spent $80 on shipping and still may need to spend more on it. The shelving price itself is good, but this stock and QA business is not ideal. The shelves that WERE in good shape and fully sanded, though, are awesome and a great price.4
