The powder-coated steel frame is both sturdy and durable.

The foil melamine surface of the table top is durable, easy to clean and nice to the touch.

No cross bar - not sturdyLesiaUnfortunately as nice as this table looks on top, it is poorly engineered for its heavy weight because it has no cross bar to support legs. This means it’s immovable. You can’t slide it to clean or anything as it causes the bolts to snap out of table when legs are shifted. 2

The table top has a...rough (?) texture so it isn't smoothly flat (for lack of a better term) but it is great. It needs to be cleaned with a damp cloth, as opposed to just swiping crumbs up after eating, but I am very happy with it.5

Love this table!LupitaI was looking for another, but this was the only one in stock. I'm glad I went with this one! The only downfall was the cleaning of it. I tried using an all purpose cleaner that did NOT remove finger or grease stains. Just discovered that soap and water does the trick! Aside from that it's a beauty. Super sturdy and looks like it comes from a high end furniture store!5

The wood is laminated which is fine but you can see the white glue on the edges which takes away from the beauty of the table and makes it look a little cheap although it’s not ($599)… Other than the glue spots it’s a nice, modern table!4

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fiberboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
