Not deep enoughGeorgiaFor anyone who's interested the seat of this chair is quite shallow, the measurement is just 15 inches. I like the look of the chair and wanted to order online so I'm glad I finally visited the store and was able to sit on it. I'm 5'4" and slim, the seat covered two thirds of my legs, wasn't comfortable at all. In fact of all the chairs I tried it had the most shallow seat. Other than that it's an attractive chair with medium to thin cushioning. Wheels don't roll too well, even when sitting on it, I tried 2 different chairs and both had restricted movement. The HATTEFJÄLL wheels were rolling much better.3
Useful and classy chairLuceroVery nice and comfortable chair. I requested white but came in grey which at the end is better and does not get dirty easily like the white one. 5
Broke after a little over a yearMarshallIt worked well for a while but recently broke while I was sitting in it. A part of the post snapped where it meets the seat and now the whole seat pivots on the post in a really uncomfortable way.2
Confortable home office chairLuciaNice comfortable, swivel chair with soft fabric that rolls easily on the rug.
I’m short (5’1”), so the chair supports my back well, but I have to use a foot rest, because my legs don’t reach the floor, even in the lowest position. I owned it only for a month, but I’m very happy with my purchase :)5
Office chair - Black leatherAnonymous reviewerThe height is adjustable. I'm not a short person but I wish it could go just a tiny bit lower so I don't need a foot support (but this is an issue for most office chairs out there).
I like how smoothly it swivels and the design is very classic and not distracting.
I really wanted to get a different chair from Ikea (ALEFJÄLL) but I was surprised by how comfortable this was in comparison!
I agree with another reviewer that the price is pretty steep. The chair feels pretty sturdy after assembly but I hope it holds up well from daily use.4
ChairAnneNot very comfortable. Hight is not adjustible.3
It’s A Great Office Chair AshaThe wheels are fine. People don’t know how to read or comprehend what they’re reading. The instructions state that as a safety feature the wheels auto lock in place to keep the chair from rolling, as soon as you put weight into/onto the chair the wheels will unlock and smoothly glide across the floor. That seems to be exactly what’s happening and it’s great. The chair was super easy to assemble, the wheels feel even better than other expensive office chairs I’ve sat in and it feels and looks high end in its new space. So far very happy. Hopefully with months of use we will feel the same. It’s for our son’s room, so he wouldn’t mind it either way since it’ll be a comfortable upgrade from his wooden swivel Ikea desk chair that didn’t have casters. It’s Ikea so I feel that the price is a bit high, however the quality, classic shape and feel is a nice touch. So I’ll deduct a star simply for price as that’s a huge factor for most these days, but overall it’s definitely a 5 star product. 4
