Awesome kitchen storageSabrinaGreat storage for smaller kitchens that need more storage and prep space. The one issue we ran into were those typical IKEA screws that use the round locking piece on one end. Some were not so easy to initially screw into the side pieces, which almost stripped the Phillips side of the finding. Don’t try to force the screw to turn otherwise you will strip that side and there are no extra screws provided to work with. Our work around was to use a drill bit to make the provided holes slightly bigger, but ONLY SLIGHTLY. Then it was easy peasy to get the screws in. You definitely need two people to build this. Otherwise, it’s an easy build.

Stools slide under to save space which is also ideal. Before I purchased, I taped out the size on my floor to see if it would work, and it did! So very happy with this purchase!

Advice for treating wood surface?MaryI've had one from IKEA like this for years and love it. Wood top does show water rings, so I'd like to prevent that. Would I add varnish?
