Nice little container NancyI bought 4 of these for “stuff” and they are great . everything looks neat and organized. Particularly good for my coasters which are usually a mess.
Arrived smelling dampMugeI used Ikea products in 2 different European countries and never have I ever been this unsatisfied. I ordered 4 of these and they came reeking, as if they were being kept in a damp place for a really long time. I want to return them but the nearest Ikea is a 1 hour drive from my home and if I want to mail them I will have to pay for it. It's really unbelievable. I've been checking the comments, you keep saying we can return them, but the return process makes sure the customer is stuck with them. I ordered bowls and they came broken so I didn't even bother. I am writing this review just to tell you guys that you are doing a really terrible job here in the USA.

Wanted to love them HaleyI wanted to love them, but the smell is terrible. My husband says they smell moldy, and I’m getting more of a chemical smell… either way, the smell is unbearable and lingers long after you move them to a new room. Super cute and exactly what I needed, but can’t keep them due to the smell.

I love the size and price of these but not worth the unknown smell that came with them.TawnyI received my order of several of these baskets and noticed a weird smell. I figured it would dissipate over time but it's been about a week and the smell is so strong it's the first thing I notice when I get anywhere near them. I even tried washing one in the washing machine and it didn't do anything to help. I can't tell if it's chemicals or mold or mildew. Something is not right with these and I live an hour away from the nearest Ikea. Super sad about this and not sure what to do as I love the baskets otherwise.. but would really like to know what the smell is and if it'll ever go away.. or if its safe?

reeked of chemicalsRobinI didn't retrieve my order, my husband did. If I'd picked it up, I'd have noticed the horrid smell. Apparently, besides my husband, the employees didn't notice it either hence them piling my other order items on top of it. I can still smell the chemical odor faintly in the other items so I place a lavender dryer sheet in the bag when I wrapped them, time will tell. As for the actual fabric basket, the odor is still there even after I doused it with odor eliminating spray that usually works on everything else. My husband brought it into our family room and sat it on a chair and I noticed it immediately so I transferred it to the den where it totally lit up the room with the chemical smell. It now resides in the garage until I am able to return it.
