Split in halfChayaBed was nice until it split completely in half
Confusing partsKenDepending on which version of the website you review it either does or does not come with the slats. One version says to deduct $60 if you don't want the included slats. The other version says you need to buy the slats separately. I just finished putting it together and... no slats.
Also, one of the headboard bars is about 1/2" shorter than all the others and leaves a very noticeable gap. Since I have to go back to the store to get the slats, I'll try to get a replacement as well.

Just glad kids weren’t near when it happened. Wish I could share photos to see the split of wood. Very disappointing as our previous TARVA queen has served us over 10 years and still great.
Surprise!AriThis came together surprisingly easily. I was worried it would be cheap or faulty materials but it is VERY sturdy upon completion. It's simple in its design but definitely takes the user experience into account without compromising construction. The smell of the wood adds a wonderful addition to our bedroom, and the height is just enough for storage.
Would definitely recommend people who have a tight budget this one in particular. If you follow the steps it's a seamless process.
Safety concernSagarI am a big fan of IKEA innovative designs and sustainability initiatives. IKEA is our first preference for kitchen and bedroom furniture. But my experience with this bed frame was very bad. I bought it 6-7 months back. Today we had a safety incident with it, when my elderly parents climbed up the the bed for their afternoon nap, the base suddenly sank on one side. The side support holding the base completely ripped apart and also the base slats were broken. Luckily no one was hurt.
This is a safety concern and I request IKEA team to do the needful.
