Love the look, hate the smell.JessThese are beautiful and super sturdy baskets. Unfortunately, we just discovered (after using them for months) that THEY are the source of the terrible small that now permeates from our closet and into our bedroom. We've been trying to figure out what the smell is for months and I only just discovered that it's coming from these baskets.
They looks absolutely beautiful, but the smell makes me ill. It's like mold, mildew, and pee all swirled together. Yuck. I don't know if we'll be able to return or exchange them, but I'm looking into it.

Smells like mold and mildewMaryThis product smells so repulsive. It smells like moldy, mildewy, moist wicker. The scent and stench is so terrible. I converted four Billy book cases into a closet wardrobe and I use these baskets to line the top of them which fit perfectly two on each bookcase on the top. But the stench that is stuck in my closet is horrendous. Not to be used in a space with closed doors. I’ve kept the door open for several days now and my entire bedroom smells like it. Returning immediately.
