Kitchen Counter LightMichaelHad been looking for a Farmhouse Style light for my kitchen counter, and liked this one.
Great lamp, except for one thing...MikeI like this lamp. In our store, the light bulbs were right next to it. Looks great. The light is nice. I only wish the power cord were not 90° from the on off switch. If it is used on the right hand side of the bed, the knob is going to be completely opposite from you. Turning it towards me, just makes the whole thing look awkward with the cord all over my nightstand. See the third picture down on the website.
Beautiful lamp, disappointed in the light bulbKristinI ordered this lamp and added the light bulb recommended on the lamp's page. However, I was shipped the 180 lumen lightbulb and in reading the reviews, only the 210 lumen will work. Our lamp keeps dimming or flickering on its own without us touching it. I wish the correct light bulb would just be included if it's this particular.

Unnecessarily Inconvenient MarjorieThis lamp should come with the light bulb included. Not including it is unnecessarily inconvenient. It is a great lamp for the price but adding that extra $6 makes it much less so.

Awful constructionKaraAs other users have noted, removing the glass top to change a lightbulb is a nightmare (and you really need to, as the bulbs they sell flicker like crazy). In removing the top, I smashed the bulb, and after cleaning up the mess, I have no confidence that I can put a bulb in and take it out again without the same disaster.
Almost perfect, but so much glare!LiliGreat lamp - small, dimmable, with smooth, easy-to-reach switch. But why isn't the lamp shade frosted?? The light bulb, even at its dimmest setting, has so much glare that as long as the bulb itself is in your field of vision, in a darkened room you won't be able to see anything except that light. I ordered glass-etching paste to frost the glass shade. Hoping that will fix the glare problem.
Only works with suggested bulb, which is out of stock! Awful strobe otherwiseDanielThis product should come with the correct bulb! because the suggested bulb is out of stock in my state, and unavailable to ship. I bought similar Ikea bulbs but the lamp only STROBES (fast flicker), alternating with a low steady light. Talk a headache-inducing fail! If the "pleasant candle" effect relies on the specific suggested bulb here, the Lunnom LED bulb E12 210 lumen, it should make that CLEAR, or (crazy idea, I know to make it simple for the customer) just provide it. Now I have to return it all. Disappointed in the product, and much trouble to return it. Do not buy unless the bulb on this product page is available, otherwise big waste of time ahead.
An indoor camp lanternAliciaWe joke this is a Victorian light. It's wonderful. It looks adorable and when lite, the light is warm and paints the room a beautiful golden hue.

LOVE IT!GenesisThis lamp is so beautiful! I bought the light bulb in the picture and it’s dimmable and looks like a flame. It produces a good amount of light if you want or can be very low light. I definitely recommend this!
Don't break your bulbs!ElizaThe glass cover is difficult to remove, which led to a broken light bulb because it came off suddenly and at an angle where it hit the tip of the recommended Ikea bulb which shattered.
The light was also too glaring behind the clear glass, so we are returning it.

Euro plug? Tinytoyotagrogu426!Just bought this lamp today, in a U.S. based IKEA store, got it home, the lamp had a Euro style plug, we were unable to use it. Not sure if these only have that style plug? I'm hoping they have a U.S. version, I really like the styling.
Excessive instructionsMarkIt’s a good lamp so I’ll give it a good rating, but the 12-page instruction book showing how to screw in the lightbulb was really not necessary. Only from IKEA.
