Great board confusing mounting instructions EsiThe board is a perfect size and surface for putting notes and reminders. I like that it’s a chalkboard surface so I can write on it. The mounting instructions are very unclear. It just says to use normal screws, but doesn’t address what to do if it’s drywall or other wall types. 4

Cannot cleanSageI was under the impression that I could write on this with a chalk marker, and easily erase this with a damp cloth, as the instructions indicate. We've been scrubbing at this for several minutes, with isopropyl alcohol and a credit card, and STILL cannot get any of this off. Do not recommend if you want to write on it.1

Not exactly what I wanted; will make it work.TedA few years back I bough a couple magnetic boards (14.5" x 31", white) for my basement. (Put one around the corner from the other.) Recently, I wanted to buy a couple more to go with the ones I already have. What they had at the store is Svensas. Not the size I wanted (15.75" x 23.5") and while they displayed a white one & a black one on the wall, only the black was in stock. When I got home and saw they were not the same size, I did some looking online & I think what I bought years ago was named Spontan. And it has been discontinued. (Chat on IKEA website gives no indication it'll ever come back.) If Svensas had been the same size as the Spontan, I would just put the new ones next to the old ones. As they are not the same size, I will still use them. I just need to put the Svensas in a different location so they don't look funny next to the Spontan. (Still working that out so haven't taken them out of packaging.)3
