Exactly as summarized by other reviewerJpThe package arrived with no protective covering on the mirror. There was only a single sheet of tissue in the box with the mirror, which was shipped inside a larger brown box. A real mirror could probably be shipped in this way and suffer no scratches or breakage. But this "mirror" is stainless steel with a wisp of extremely delicate, reflective coating on the convex side. No part of this mirror is comprised of glass or acrylic. On both sides, when you hold it up to the light, you can see the machine scuff marks.
