Nice doors, but heavyMorganReally nice looking doors- I used with the Besta system to create built in shelving units/ TV unit in my living room. 2 things that were annoying:
The doors are really hard to get straight, so it's really noticeable with this design when one is crooked. Another thing was the doors are so heavy they cause the actual bookshelves to bow from the weight of the doors. Our contractor was amazing and built a shelf to go across that reinforced the weight and gave additional support, but if we were installing on our own then I would be really worried about how long these would hold up. These doors work much better for the smaller units than the bookshelves

Materials and Appearance are Great! Doesn't work well with Besta...EmilyThe quality and appearance of the sutterviken is really wonderful. But what makes it wonderful--the weight and appearance--make it difficult to use with the Besta Storage system. We bought these for cabinet doors with our Besta, and they are just too heavy. We can't get them to level with the cabinet. So, while they look good...they look good crooked.
classicCindyvery happy with this style for credenza/cupboard, with classic feet, and the black u-shaped pulls. fyi you will need to drill your own holes for any door pulls

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
