At first, I suggested keeping a large traditional refrigerator in the basement and using this one in our main kitchen. However, we quickly realized that we didn’t need the extra fridge at all. We rarely buy highly processed or premade foods because we cook fresh meals from scratch. This fridge comfortably holds a week’s worth of groceries and meal prep for our family of four.
If your family stores a lot of frozen pizzas, chicken nuggets, tenders, or other premade foods, this fridge might not be the best fit. However, if you enjoy cooking fresh meals every day, trust me—it offers more than enough space. We’re extremely happy with it because it fits our lifestyle and needs perfectly!

Grocery portions here are large, and this fridge simply doesn’t accommodate real-life shopping. I bought a fraction of my usual weekly groceries and it was already full. We’re just two person household. For a larger household, there’s no way you could function with a fridge like that.
Biggest issue: functionality. You cannot fit a pot inside. No soups, no leftovers in actual cookware — which is a basic, everyday need.
At this price point, that’s a dealbreaker. Instead of adapting to your lifestyle, it forces you to change how you shop and store food.
Strongly recommend testing with real items before purchasing. Very disappointing.

Great Refrigerator for Compact SpacesDavidWe installed this as an auxiliary refrigerator for our home. Our only real complaint about it is the limited freezer space. Fits beautifully into the cabinet. Make sure to follow the installation directions precisely!!!
Worst Customer Service !!! SarahI bough two IKEA fridges for my new remodeled kitchen. My contractor made me purchase my appliances before hand so he can make the panels. I took the leap with IKEA. Fast forward 6 months my kitchen is finally ready so I take the fridge out of the box but they don’t fit!!! So I call Ikea and they won’t take them back because it’s past 180 even though they are brand new!! So I make new panels and plug them and thee fridge doesn’t work only the freezer and ikea customer service says it’s my problem now . What a load of BS!!! Two new fridges that have never been used and they don’t even work the first day! I demand my money back!

Left hanging by Ikea (warning)JeffPurchased a complete integrated kitchen from Ikea and the Superkall panel ready refrigerator came in damaged. I have a custom kitchen based on Sektion cabinets and this panel ready refrigerator which has been on back order for 3 or 4 months. To my knowledge there is no way to integrator another brand refrigerator (spent $2k trying), so my Airbnb is stuck with a large cabinet containing only a mini fridge. Come on Ikea - offer your proprietary hardware as a kit to integrate other brands of refrigerators. Don't leave your loyal customers handing without a solution. I expected more...
