Perfect WeightDebraThis is the perfect weight for our bed here in AZ. It is easy to clean and easy to make. It does make a strange sound when you move it but as we wash it it is going away.5
Comfort and WarmthJillKeeps the winter chill away and helps warm us up quickly.warm and comfortable5
High Quality Duvet InsertAnonymous reviewerI bought this duvet insert as a replacement for the discontinued Stjarnbracka insert. I was not happy that the Stjarnbracka was discontinued but I needed a new insert to I took a chance on the Strandmolke. I'm happy to say that I am very pleased with the new Strandmolke insert. Overall it's a higher quality product with an all cotton cover. It's a bit stiff at first but it softens up nicely after a few uses. It's light and fluffy more like.a down insert. The warm version is quite warm so unless you live in a very cold climate the warm version should do. Nice job IKEA!5
Great value for the cost!NancyThis insert/comforter is lovely, well-made, and warm enough for cold winter nights.5
Warm cozy comforter!KristineThis is a really nice, good quality duvet insert/comforter. Nice thick material on the outside and plenty of floof inside to make it incredibly warm. Super snuggly on these cold winter nights! So glad I purchased, and you will be too if you’re looking for a very warm comforter!5
Beautiful as a Quilt But Noisy!RobinGreat as a quilt, would be good in a duvet also but the fabric is very, uh, noisy! Krinkle, krinkle. We've washed it twice so far. Hopefully it will soften up over time. Still, we love it. Works great.4
Sweet DuvetDaianaWarm and hope after wash becomes more quiet 😊with no noise.5
Love it!JennyHave it in both King and Queen size. LOVE IT! Thick and cozy! Also, a big advantage is that the surface is a little bit ”rough” so the duvet cover stays in place without sliding.
Would love if you sold it in twin size as well!5
First time purchase of duvet insertKarenI’m very pleased with this duvet insert. After taking it out of the packaging, it did fluff up and fit perfectly into the IKEA duvet cover I purchased. It provides for a warm, comfortable nights sleep. I love the weight of it as well.
I haven’t had a problem with it shifting within the duvet cover at all, even thought if doesn’t have ties to hold it in place.
Currently it’s been 40 degrees overnight and I’m comfortable with a flat sheet and duvet. It will get colder, in the winter months, but I’m sure it will provide the warmth I’ll need.4
King is size for queen duvetBradWay smaller than it needs to be, advertised as a size for king duvet, was barely large enough to fit one of my queen duvets1
HOTDavidI have to give this five stars because it's a very nice duvet but be warned that it is very hot. If you're one of those people that complains that it's too cold when it's 95 degrees or you live in a very cold part of the world, I’m thinking the Arctic, then you'll love it.5
SurprisedMartyWhat a surprise of a duvet insert. I have never had an Ikea duvet, always had feather from M & S but this so much better.
I bought it with a couple of Ikea duvet covers and for some reason with this duvet I don't have to find the corners in the morning when I make the bed like I used to with my old duvet insert. Not sure if it is the duvet inserts fabric along with the fabric of the duvet cover but what ever it is has made me extremely happy.
The warmth is warm. The duvet insert above this one I went for, must be super warm. I really should have gone for light warm for here in Texas but my husband was always complaining he was cold with the old duvet hence why I choose the medium warm.5
Good quality. for a reasonable price.DawnSo comfy, Cozy love the comfort and the warmth oh wow, it’s wonderful. I made an excellent choice. Thank you IKEA.5
Hot and kinda scratchy feels very polyester is it really cotton ? Pretty to look at but this is not for a warm climate like Florida even with ac cranking cool in bedroom it HOLDS heat not breathable Buy it if you live in cooler climates ONLY LisaScratchy feels like poly ..sorta holds heat not breathable in north Florida (even with ac cranking)
Looks good but does not sleep cool or breath . The full feels hot and builds heat maby good for a cooler climate not in Florida
Room at at 70 and hot sitting on this 3
Just what I wantedPatriciaI was looking for something soft, puffy and warm - but not hot. The Strandmolke comforter is just what I wanted! My sleep has improved and it looks great on the bed. Thank you Ikea.5
Well constructed, very cozyBermaI am so happy with this comforter. It is well made, a perfect weight, machine washable. I have used it for about a month. 5
Very warm and puffy. I may return. it rustles and is loudLauraStrandmolke duvet is warm and fluffy. I DO recommend it if you are seeking a down alternative duvet insert. I prefer the fjallhavre duvet insert, so I might return the Strandmolke.4
Winter comforterMa.Love this comforter because as soon as you wrap yourself you feel comfortable enough for you to go to sleep right away. The best part is I don’t need to use heater and that’s a lot of savings.5
great duvetAndrewkeeps me warm; despite no corner ties, the duvet does not slide. I use a King size on a queen mattress and it fits nicely....it's puffy too.5
Warm duvet fillerSusanI bought this filler to replace the lumpy down filler on the bed in my guest room. My daughter and son-in- law love it. I also bought an organic duvet to complete their bed. It's perfect and no more lumpy looking bed. 5
