Looks nice, but noisyJasonIt’s a nice looking little lamp. However, one I got makes a high pitched noise when turned on. The other does not. Makes it annoying to use.
Beautiful but I miss the brass color!CamillaI got 4 of these little lights when I lived in n apartment years ago and I’m so excited to see them back at IKEA (although out of stock at the moment). I’d love to buy more of them but I really would like the same brass colorway that I got last time, as an option. Any plans to bring that item back, friends at IKEA? //A Swede in the US :)
Poor battery lifeMaureenWas so excited to see these cute little lamps. I bought 3. Only worked properly for a couple of days. Lamp will only light for a few minutes now. So sad, what a shame.
Great as a night lightJohnI have this set on a low setting and use it as a night light in the bathroom. It does tend to use a lot of juice so juts be prepared to change the batteries more often than you might otherwise think. Replacing the batteries is also a bit more involved since it requires removing the glass tube, unscrewing the bottom, then using a small screwdriver to access the battery storage. Otherwise, considering that it's a real glass tube (not plastic) and the bottom is metal, it's a very attractive and high quality little night light. Just be prepared to change the batteries every week or so.
Battery Life Is LackingAlexI purchased 4 of these decorate lights. Love the look of the light, however the issue I’ve encountered is that after no more than 8 hours of use (two evenings), all 4 of my lights went out. I used new batteries for each light, so it is clear to me it’s not a battery issue but that these lights just don’t compare to every other LED product I use in terms of battery life unfortunately.
Cute but fragileErinVery cute, but the glass part is very thin and delicate and it's not secured to the base at all... It shattered the first time I took it off to try and put the batteries in :(
Why don’t the batteries last?TheresaI love this little lamp, it is so well made. The only problem is the batteries don’t last. I’ve changed the batteries twice and each time the light has lasted for 6 days. We have other Ikea LED lights and they last much longer.
Cute and functionalHollyIts a little smaller then I expected but that's probably on me. I like it, my only complaint is the dimming of the light isn't a smooth transition its like either full brightness or dull and you have to really go slowly to reach a nice middle. I think it's cute and I love having battery operated lamps for power outages.
Beautiful!RNice, sturdy, metal and glass. Gorgeous replica of a vintage oil lamp. I bought it for the vibe rather than utility, but it is bright enough. I don’t agree with the other review at all! Go to the store and see for yourself.
