Wrong Width = Furniture Surface ExposureAlice1) Two purchased were defective. The spec width is 18 7/8" (47.9425 cm), however mine were about 7.5 mm short, exposing the furniture top surface in the front. Since the glass is fixed in the back, any other adjustment is impossible. The front of the nightstand is usually the most vulnerable to damage, thus this defect invalidates the whole purpose of having a glass top for furniture surface protection. The appearance is also negatively affected as the glass top is not flush in the front and a 'lip' is quite evident. The defective product was Made in Turkey, lot# 2511 (purchased in the USA). I'm working with cust. svc and waiting for replacements: the hope is that a different lot number (it is the same supplier for the whole USA) will resolve the issue.
2) I would have preferred to have a white glass top (instead of clear) and a glass top with no holes/metal braces (like the previous MALM line product).
