Beautiful dresser and easy to assembleSarahWe bought 2 of these dressers, one for each of our daughters rooms. I usually dread building dressers because of the drawers and what a pain they can be, but this dresser was incredibly easy to build! The instructions were easy to follow and everything lines up perfect. Took about 2 hrs. to build one which I didn't think was bad at all. I used a drill which really helped cut the build time down. The dresser looks beautiful and has a good amount of space for all my teenage girls clothes. Would definitely recommend.5

Beautiful but smallChristieThe dresser looks beautiful in my daughter room and ikea added a few things that makes the drawers seem more secure but the Size is disappointing. We previously had a 6 drawer IKEA dresser in her room for the past 14 years that recently Broke we thought this would be the same size but it is not. A little disappointing the drawers do not fit a lot of stuff.4

Small drawers, can’t open much!RothSo much worse than Malm. We got two for each kids room. Not much storage. Hard to see what’s in the back of drawer. Hard to reach it! Very disappointed. Setting it up was pain too. Took 2 hours for each. Drawers were the worst.2
Bought More UnitsHannahWe installed a couple of these in the storage area of a vacation rental for housing towels and sheets. They get a lot of use and are holding up nicely. We bought three more and assembled them yesterday. Follow the directions carefully and you won't have to disassemble them to make corrections. I built twenty-one drawers and they go together fast and once you get the first one built, you can lay them out on a table and it goes fast. My helper built the cabinets. We did five Storklinta products in about four hours.5

This is the best furniture for the price and if you go slowly and carefully the tolerances are tight. Very solid and tough compared to most other IKEA furniture in this price range.
But! Once you tap in a dowel in any furniture anywhere, the exposed end is NOT an alignment tool, but a decision. If you want to be able to disassemble it later for moving, don't glue it. But it will be wobbly. If you want it to never fall apart and be a monolith, glue the dowels with a drop or two of wood glue. This is woodworking and assembly 101. IKEA should tell you this in the instructions, and it's the #1 reason people think the furniture is cheap and falls apart. Trust me on this - those few drops of glue will make it never come apart without breaking something.5

Perfect Size DresserKateI was hesitant to purchase this because of the drawer-locking function, but it’s actually not that annoying at all! You can have two drawers open side-by-side, just not two drawers in the same column at the same time. It’s a perfect dresser for my toddler’s room after getting rid of the baby dresser. We’ve used it for about a month now and it seems very sturdy and looks great!5
Disappointed AmandaAfter 3 hours putting together. The furniture is scratched. Thought it was. Paint strips but no, actual chip damages. Sad because it is so beautiful but yet now I have a built defective top 😞2

5 months old and it's a solid dresser JohnPurchased 4 of these and put them against the wall. Gained so much storage and it created a great top for more storage and baskets. First one took 2 hrs the second one even faster and 3rd and fourth were not even 11/2 hours. They have a great safety on the drawers where you can only open one. My wife and I are opening these everyday all day and we are really happy with them. They have a nice clean look to them with no hardware. We would buy them again. Take your time putting it together and follow directions carefully and you will not be disappointed. 5

Good for a child's roomKennethThe quality and new drawer slide system are good. Took a bit of effort to build than other Ikea pieces. Much smaller than the Malm dresser it replaces. Would be good for a kids room.3

Pretty good dealKaylaPretty good deal for a dresser of this size and price. Did notice random adhesive on the inside of one of the drawers front panels but it came off for the most part. Interesting safety design with having only one drawer able to open on each side but not entirely inconvenient. In comparison to my MALM chest I will say that there are many similarities and the overall sturdiness is the same. Great new alternative to MALM dressers and chests4
