I think the drawers are deep enough for a good amount of clothing. Liked it so much I also bought a 3-drawer version for my husband’s side of the closet. Love the simple design. 5
No complaintsKassandraHonestly no complaints. It was exactly what I wanted. I bought 2 so I could put them next to each other or have the option to separate them in the future. More spacious than my previous dresser which is what I needed as a 25 yo. I know it says to attach them to the wall but I didn’t and they are stable on carpet. Thank you ikea! Delivery was also perfect as the person was so kind even though it was so hot out and the packages were super heavy. 5
Met my expectations TommyI previously had the Malm, and I had read some reviews of folks disappointed with this one in comparison, but that hasn't been my experience. It seems the same to me, other than some improvements actually. There's a mechanism that prevents more than one drawer from being open at once, which is kinda cool to me. I didn't mount mine to the wall, and this seems like it would help with tipping issues in that case. Maybe there's another purpose, but it seemed like a cool feature to me. All in all, assembly was the same easiness/difficulty to me as any IKEA stuff. The oak color is nice too. Simple and minimal. 5

Great value for the priceCarlosThis was pretty simple to build, and sturdy. I would recommend this item. A few draw backs are the hardware is very disorganized. I would highly recommend before starting to organize everything neatly to make it easier to build. Another down fall is that the material is a bit cheap. It’s compressed wood, which is ok. The down falls is that it is easy to crack and split. When moving the furniture around be very careful or it will break the wood. Overall you get what you paid for and this gets the job done.4

Love the sizeBernThis is a great size dresser with ample drawer space. If you assemble the dresser yourself, you can remove pieces to rectify the drawer safety situation...as long as you don't have young climbers. We had an issue with a side panel and Ikea customer service is top notch!5

okAmyI had the malm and i LOVED it. i bought this since they don’t make the malm anymore. it was very easy to put together by myself (mid 30/female) and all of the pieces were there. i’m just very disappointed the drawers are so small, they barely fit anything. 3

I guess -___-DenasiaI’m SOOOOO UPSET IKEA REPLACED MALM WITH THIS PRODUCT. THE ASSEMBLY PROCESS IS MUCH MORE COMPLICATED WITH SO MANY SMALL PIECES. The instructions weren’t as clear as they could’ve been. I DISLIKE NOT BEING ABLE TO OPEN MULTIPLE DRAWERS AT A TIME. closest substitute to MALM EllaThis is an ok dresser and certainly felt the sturdiest of all dressers on display at the store and closest to a MALM dresser. I purchased it for my teen's clothing. I wouldn't put heavy things in it. I am a female in my late 40s and had no issues assembling this dresser by myself following pictures-only instructions provided, given I have assembled only one IKEA dresser in the past. I didn't encounter any defective or missing parts and this dresser came together perfectly. There is a metal bar running horizontally from one side wall to another I guess for stability reinforcement and this bar is kind of annoying and gets in the way if the drawer is full to the top. Due to a built- in anti-tipping safety mechanism you can't open more than one drawer at a time unless you attach this dresser to a wall. I see many negative reviews about this feature but honestly it works great for us as we don't have a need to open more than one drawer at the time anyway. 4
